What is the best scary movie to watch on Halloween?

User Avatar
The obvious answer, of course, is John Carpenter's Halloween (1978), which was one of the very first "slasher" horror films that became ever—so—popular in the 1980s. Other notable films in the horror genre that have given me the creeps in particular are The Birds (1963), Alien (1979), The Shining (1980), John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), It Follows (2014), The Witch (2015), Hereditary (2018), and this year's The Lighthouse.

What album is Rosemary listening to in Rosemary's Baby?

User Avatar
Sorry, I posted this question and didn't notice autocorrect changed the wording. I am asking a question about the album played in the movie Roaemary's Baby.I meant to ask what album Rosemary and then later Rosemary and Guy are listening to in their apartment. In the first scene Rosemary puts on the album and lies on the couch, listening to the music and reading a book. In the second scene, Rosemary and Guy are eating dinner and listening to the album.

Why didn't Wes craven made new nightmare much better than how he made it back then?

User Avatar
I think Wes Craven did a wonderful job with New Nightmare. You can never compare a horror movie (or any movie) of a certain date, to the way films are made with today's abilities and technology. When people make movies, they make them to the best of their abilities, and budget, at the time. It should be appreciated for what it is, not depreciated when comparing it to other more current films.

Do joker and Michael Myers coinside?

User Avatar
Never. The Joker is from the Batman movies, which are action movies and not meant to be horror at all. However, Michael Myers is the slasher from the classic 'Halloween' movie series. They never have appeared in the same movie, nor at the same time.

Who has the most movies to select from blockbuster or netflix?

User Avatar
Both Netflix and Blockbuster have nearly everything that has been released. I don't think it matters if you're looking for a certain movie, I'm sure both will have it. It just depends on whether there's a waiting list to receive the movie or not.

What was the first horror movie ever made and what was significant about it?

User Avatar
Le Manoir Du Diable, or, in English, The Devil's Castle. This movie was made in 1896. While it's intentions weren't to be a scary movie, but rather a short fantasy clip meant to make you wonder, many people were terrified after watching it. The movie was significant, simply because it unintentionally started the trend of horror movies
