Why is my 79 Porsche's clutch grinding when released but pushed in it stops?
Any clutch that is 'pushed in' is basically disengaged. When you push in the pedal, the two plates that compose the clutch assembly are separated from each other. If you have grinding when these parts are pressed together but hear nothing when they are apart, the problem should seem obvious. The plates are no longer working as they should and probably need replacement. One other possibility is that the clutch is operating normally and some other part of the drivetrain is damaged. The effect of this would be similar and would only be present when the clutch is engaged. In any case, an inspection is necessary to further diagnose the problem.
Usually this is a slave or master clutch cylinder leaking (most often the slave). The truly bad thing is the slave is INSIDE the bell housing so the whole trans & Xfer case have to be pulled to get at it. then might as well change the clutch while you are in there. I also have a 91 & was the first major thing I had to do 10 yrs ago & might get to do again in next couple years since life expectancy of those is around 10 yrs. A suggestion is to use the best brake fluid you can get your hands on to fill it. I used DOT 5 and it has held up well.

How do you bleed the clutch on a 1991 Jeep Wranger 4-cylinder?
The clutch bleeding is similar to bleeding brakes. Although you must be sure the clutch cylinder is higher that the bleed fittings and if you can't get it to bleed you may have to purchase a tool at you local parts store that will force bleed the system. This will pull the air out of the system and pull the fluid in. Always be sure to keep the master clutch reservoir full at all times.
How do you fix a clutch master cylinder leak on a 1990 f-150 302?
If it's leaking out the end of the master cylinder you'll need to replace it. Don't even bother trying to rebuild the clutch master cylinder, it just isn't worth the trouble. You can buy one from most auto parts retailers for about the same price as a rebuild kit, and often for less.
The fluid is leaking from your clutch on a 2002 F150 XL how do you fix it?
Sounds like it is your clutch slave cylinder. Depending on the type used, you probably will have to pull the tranny unless you have an inspection plate on your bell housing. Many of these are connected to the throwout bearing(which will need replacing also). If there is an inspection plate, pull it to make sure the hose connections are tight and no holes in the hose 1st. Good luck. I had the same thing happen with a 1989 Jeep Wrangler, everything had to be pulled. The Ford Ranger 4X4 in the early 90's have the same setup. This one was one really bone head idea they came up with.
The clutch throwout bearing/mechanism is malfunctioning. This isn't a job for a shadetree mechanic. Best to have it done professionally.

Air conditioner cycles constantly clutch engages then disengages...?
Your air conditioning system is most likely has an insufficient amount of refrigerant.
The way your air condition system works is by compressing a gas refrigerant into a liquid. That liquid goes into the evaporator coil where it boils off and releases heat. Then the refrigerant passes through an expansion valve ( a tiny hole that only a small amount can pass through at a time) into the low pressure side of the system. Since there is a drop in pressure, the refrigerant begins to absorb heat.
Your compressor cycles because it has a low pressure switch on the low pressure side of the system. Your compressor turns on and begins to pump the refrigerant into the high pressure side. Since you have a low amount of refrigerant, the compressor can pump it into the high side much faster than it can pass back to the low side. The compressor pumps the level in the low side down past the cutoff point and the low pressure switch cuts it off. The gas leaks back into the low pressure side through the expansion valve like it should, bringing the pressure back above the cutoff level and the compressor kicks back on.

The rooster does not need to fertilize the hen everyday. The rooster deposits a sperm cluster or sperm sac when mating.
The sperm live inside the female reproductive system and each time an ovulation occurs (every 24-26 hours in good egg producers) the egg can become fertile. This process continues and matings at 7 - 10 day intervals are necessary to maintain fertility. The rooster does not need to fertilize the hen everyday.
