There is a reservoir on the clutch master cylinder, mounted to the firewall toward the driver side. It's got a black cap.

look under the dash at the top of your clutch pedal ;)

Here are some easy steps to bleed the system.First make sure the clutch reservoir is full of fluid.Next on your bleeder container fill it half way with clean brake fluid.Next get under the truck with this and connect your line and open the bleeder and have a helper manually push the clutch pedal until the old fluid starts to flow into the container and air bubbles start.Do this until the container is almost full.Close the bleeder and recheck the reservoir and top it off(leave the cap on the reservoir off while doing this).Now go thru the same steps and this may take two to three times to clear the old fluid or air bubbles out of the line or system.Each time you fill the container empty the container to half full you are draining the old fluid into.This should not take longer than twenty minutes to do.I recommend having a can of brake cleaner to clean the area and tools you use.In my experience it take about 3 times of filling the container at the slave to clear the system and have nice clean fluid in the resevior.Never run the fluid empty in the clutch reservoir itself.I would buy a big bottle of dot 3 or 4 fluid are fine so you do not run out.Hope this is clear enough and a easy process.Note if the slave cylinder is leaking fluid due to wear replace it,unless you did replace it or the fluid is black and you are just flushing the system.Ok

Remove the exaust pipes. Remove the transmission. It is located inside the bell housing section of the transmission.

Clutch slave cylinder is leaking fluid or the connector rod or cable from the clutch pedal is disconnected or broken. Depends on the make and model of the vehicle to know the exact setup of your clutch.

I can't answer it im trying to find it myself if anyone finds it plz let me know...

Other than it being a transmission & gearbox out job, I don't know, but that's what is needed as the slave cylinder is apparently INSIDE the bell-housing.

There is none, the factory set ups come already bled and ready to install, if you want you can get an aftermarket set up that has a bleeder valve

The 2000 Celica clutch and brake fluids share a common reservoir. That's why you only see what appears to be a brake fluid reservoir under the hood. This design makes sense, since the brake and the clutch use the same type of fluid.

not if its the same as my 84 the fluid compartment by left hand is for brake fluid and behind clutch handle there is 2 wires going in means its electric clutch like mine right now im trying to figure out how to adjust it to get more clutch

How to change a clutch and master cylinder on a 93 jeep wrangler

Depends on the model. Very difficult on a Mk 1 and Mk 2 as the clutch is cable operated and, therefore, no hydraulics. The only reservoirs are for brake fluid and power steering fluid. I suspect that it is the same for the Mk 3. If it is a later model then it may be hydraulic but I haven't investigated those yet.

Someone said that there is a tool you can rent. I never found that. I just used a three foot long crowbar. Wedged the flat end between two of the bolt heads that hold the belt pully on the end of the pump shaft. While holding the bar in that position, I used a large adjustable wrench on the clutch nut. Once it broke loose, it was easy to finish removing with my hand.

The clutch interlock switch is located under the dashboard and is similar if not identical to the brake light switch. you will find it where the clutch pedal extends to the furthest down position under the dash. It prevents you from starting the vehicle without depressing the clutch thus preventing starting up in gear, its a safety issue if someone is standing in front of you when you do it you will run them over, but if you need to just cross the wires.

I brought my Sonoma in for this this morning and my quote was $1900 for the whole deal. $1900 was my quote for my clutch, this is from a Chevy dealer service deaprtment. I have not seen the breakdown of parts and labor.

If it is something that you can feel through the steering wheel, and it either gets worse as you pick up speed or kicks in regularly around the same speed, then your front wheels are probably out of balance. Maybe you had new tire or tires put on and they weren't balanced by whoever put the new tires on. Take it to Pep Boys or a tire dealership and ask them to balance the front wheels; it's not that expensive, and it's cheaper than my other idea, which is your motor mounts are shot or, even worse, your flywheel is out of balance. But, in my experience, it's always been the wheels out of balance. Phil

dont have one,check your slave cylinder for leaks,if ok ,then u need a new clutch.

you should see a little knob near the front of the engine, slightly to the left of where you put in the oil it'll be connected to a cable that goes underneath, that'll be the clutch cable, turn the knob, it will adjust the clutch, take it to a garage, they'll charge you 60-200 bucks

drop trans pan/drain fluid,look for a 2 or 3 wire plug that plugs into a tall,kinda t-shaped,and has copper windings around the bottom of it.its held in by two 10mm bolts.unplug and remove it,pop new one in,tighten down,plug it in,reinstall pan and gasket.refill trans with 4 quarts of trans fluid.start engine,check for trans pan leaks, let it run up to operating temp,check trans dipstick level,add fluid if needed to full mark on stick.road test van ,shift thru all gears,then check for leaks and check level again.

theres alot of factors that come into play. ive seen some do up to 25mpg and as low as 11mpg both on highway. you can bank to get somewhere around 13mpg or so

...like a DIY mechanic I would need only valve adjustment wrenches,everything else you can use just regular tool

If you don't press the clutch on a manual Carr there is a direct connection between the wheels of the Carr and the engine. Without the clutch the moment the engine it turned over by the starter motor the wheels would have to turn and the car would lurch forward. and if you were to apply the brakes and bring the car to a halt the engine would have to stop. So some bright spark has come up with a method where by the drive from the engine can be gradually connected or disconnected which allows the engine to keep turning when the wheels are standing still and makes the changing of gears far easier.

It is notadjustable, You either have a bad clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder.

The clutch and pressure plate may just be worn out.
