To access it remove the oul cap then take off the plasic cover in top of the engine [you may need to remove the oil filler extesion it comes off just like the oil cap] then look down you should see a little valve sticking up with a hose going to the air intake that's it.

Will a broken piece of a PCV valve falling in the engine cause a problem?
I can list about a thousand things that can go wrong. The obvious thing on a pushrod motor would be that it finds it's way down to the camshaft and wipes a lobe or bearing out (catastrophic falure). If it's a OHC motor then this problem would/will happen relatively quickly. Other things it could get tangled up in is your valve springs, destroying your valve seals causing oil burning or even valve guid damage. I would get that out of there right away. The vavle cover takes less than 30 minutes to remove on 90% of the engines out there and the gasket is less than $5 for them too. $5 is way less than a $5,000 engine.
What causes oil to blow out of the oil filler cap?
A. i work in a desil repair shop, big rigs, so im not sure if its the same but where i work its a big problem, usually needs an in frame kit. the problem is the compression in the cylender(s) escapes somehow (rings, scratches in the cylender wall ect.) into the crank case, in turn pushing oil through the filler!, good luck
Does a 1993 Chevy Corsica with a 3.1 L MFI engine have a PCV valve?
Yes it does. And it should be replaced, because most people do not replace them ever in the 3.1 engine. It is located underneath the far valve cover( not the one right in front, it's towards the back of the engine.) You may have to take off the upper intake to get to it.
Where is the PCV valve located on a Honda Odyssey?
PVC Valve Location The PCV valve for the Honda Odyssey van (models: 1999-present) is difficult to find if you don't know where to look. I recently replaced the PCV valve on my 2000 Honda Odyssey, with a little help from the dealership. I went to the parts counter and asked them to print out a drawing of the engine that shows the location of the valve. You might want to do the same.
The PCV valve is located on the top of the engine, right (drivers) side towards the back. To get to it, you have to remove the large, black plastic cover from the top of the engine (4 each 10mm bolts) . Look at the back of the engine and you will see 4 sets of wires spread out across the engine and connect to the engine (like spark plug wires). Also across that block on the engine is another long, thin, black plastic cover. Take that cover off as well because it covers the PCV valve. You should see the PCV valve on the right-hand side and slightly recessed into the cylinder head cover. Pull on it and it should pop right out of the engine. Then use a pair of pliers to release the hose clamp on the other end. BE CAREFUL not to puncture or tear the rubber hose when removing the old valve. Install the new PCV into the hose and replace the hose clamp. Then push the other end down into the engine, replace the covers and you are good to go.

How to replace pcv valve on a 3.0 Duratec DOHC 2002 Ford Taurus?
Remove the intake manifold Follow the PCV return line to the pcv valve. Turn the valve counter-clockwise to remove. Installation is the reverse Under the wiring harness, which is under the fuel rail, which is under the upper intake manifold. From the front of the car and starting at the throttle body, locate a large rubber hose coming out the bottom of the throttle body, this hose comes straight down, then bends towards the front of the car. A plastic pipe connects to this rubber hose and the plastic pipe continues forward, then bends to the passenger side and dives under the wiring harness a few inches and connects to a 2" long rubber hose which is then connected to the PCV. You can see it actually. Locate the big coolant hose that is just above where the plastic pipe dives under the wiring harness, if you shine a light over the top of this hose and at a fairlt steep angle allowing you to see under the harness, you can make out the PCV.
