I eat it when I have diarrhea, it restores the bacteria in your stomach to help breakdown the foods you eat!

Is it safe to drink milk that was unopened and left out on cold tile floor at room temp of 69 degrees?

I JUST did this last night. Mine miraculously survived the stay. I had a 3L jug, about 60 degrees, and left out for around 6 hours. I'm sure all of that comes into play somehow... Although I'm sure my milk will go bad before its expiry date.

In any case you can always smell milk going bad before you can taste it, so that should be the deciding factor.

This was a small dairy on the northwest side of Chicago. The deliveries were made by horse & buggy. My mother remembers them delivering when she was 10 years old, so that would be about 1936. I am not related to them, but I have a milk bottle as well. HTH. John

You can contact the Polish Museum of America located in Chicago at http://pma.prcua.org/.

It is likely that this museum will have old business directories that should help you find at least its location.

The thurl is located approximately half-way between the hips (aka hooks, aka tuber coxae) and the pins (aka tuber ischii). The thurl is the external manifestation of the greater trochanter of the femur.

In much more layman's terms (if you didn't understand the thick scientific jargon in the first answer above), the thurl is the flat portion of the pelvis between the hooks or hip bone and pins (or pin bone) of the cow. It is one of the areas where you judge the body condition score or fatness level of a cow. The thurl on a dairy cow is the same thurl on a beef cow.
