check the fuse Look for a freyed or degraded wire with the rear door open. Located where the door joins the body at the top.

usually means you have a turn signal bulb in the front or rear burnt out.

Need to bring to a garage that has an ABS scanner. Sometimes just driving it will clear codes, because it has been idle for so long one of the sensors may have gotten bocked by dirt or leaves etc.

Well i have a 1999 TL and it is the same make as your 2003 . To answer your question, Yes you have to, it is not that hard, i replaced all my lights to Blue LED ights. If you need more help let me know.

There should be a trac off button on the stearing wheel, when it is pushed to the off position, it makes the light come on. If it is set on the stearing wheel only when there is a issue with your tires should it come on. (Like if you going over very bumpy grounds)

There is a fault. Could be as simple as low fluid, but that usually lights the "BRAKE" indicator. The ABS goes through a startup check which will light the light if there isn't an adequate response on ABS function. The ABS unit probably needs to be repaired or replaced if it isn't low fluid or doesn't clear after a few starts. There could also be a problem in one of the brake lines or calipers. UNless you are a mechanic, I'd take it to a dealer or certified brake repair place. If the ABS unit light is on, it is likely the ABS will not work. You'll still have brakes, just no ABS. BUT - I'd get it checked out to make sure the car is safe.

I had the ABS light stay on in my 99 Old Intrigue and it cost me $1366.03 to fix it at the dealer. Obviously they just replaced it instead of tryin to fix it. That's what dealers do because time is money. Boy, I'm racking my brain as I remember having this problem on my '98, but can't remember what it was! Something like ignoring service cycle or that weird security system reset maybe? there could possibly be a short in the wiring or a bad ground if all the fuses look correct. Thats right, I think it was use the actual key to lock and unlock the door (not the remote). Resets everything.

ANSWER: It is the check engine light. It starts out a yellow meaning that there is some thing going on and have it looked at soon. If by chance the little engine light is red, this means do not drive your vehicle until you have it serviced. There are many things that could cause this to happen from fueling the vehicle with it running , a sensor not functining properly, or a major engine problem. It is not to be taken litely if it is red, you could severly damage the engine if you ignore it.

You need to have the ABS system scanned with a computer to determine the reason for the light staying "on"

The middle knob of the heating control panel, which is the smallest one of the three is the place behind which the lightbulb sits. It takes quite some force to pull it out, but it is possible. Just like the knob it takes some force to pull the light-bulb out of its socket (don't break it - that would make it almost impossible to replace). It is a pull out socket, so no turning of the bulb is required.

The bulb itself is a "2721(w1.2W) for European Lamps" that you can buy at the local autoshop.

When reattaching the knob make sure to set it in the same position as you pulled it out. There are also some markings on the tube. Two on one side and one on the other. It should snap into place again with some force involved.

You have a blown fuse. The most likely cause is the choke is defective.

i don't think it has anything to do with a fuse . i think your choke is out of adjustment possibley a week spring in the choke causing the choke to open to quickly . your carb may also need a rebuild if its a rochester they are not to hard to do . lots of info on the web . alot of bad info as well .

The choke works in conjunction with the oil pressure sending unit. Check a wiring schematic and you can trace it out. Replace the oil pressure sending unit.

On a dashboard? It means your handbrake is on.

disconnect your battery then reconnect it

Check the owner guide, no need to disconnect the battery.

Push and hold the trip reset button on your dash, with the button still pressed, turn the key to ACC (dash lights, radio comes on but car doesn't start) Hold button until light starts to flash, it'll do this for about 5 seconds, and should take about the same amount of time to start flashing. after it stops turn key off and it should be reset.

do you mean a lightening bolt symbol? Seems to be an electrical indicator.

Positive to battery or fuse, light to dimmer switch (if used) Negative to negative on cars ignition coil.
