Positive to battery or fuse, light to dimmer switch (if used) Negative to negative on cars ignition coil.

It indicates traction control.

Broken speed cable. probably doesn't have a cable it works off of a vehicle speed sensor.

The question is a bit vague. If you're talking about the speed governor, that's electronically controlled, and you'd need the appropriate ECM software for the engine it has in order to set that. If you've changed tire sizes, and need to recalibrate it, more the same - electronically controlled.

Bring the maintenance schedule program onto the information display. Hold the scroll button in until the maintenance schedule is cleared. The maintenance light should go off.

They should flash for a few seconds then come on permanently while in 4x4 if they continue to flash open the hood/bonnet and just behind the air filter you will see two small solenoids with vacuum pipes attached,make sure there is no leaking pipes as I cured mine yesterday with the same fault when one of the pipes had come loose and burned through on the turbo. The 2003 Chevy Z 71 pickup truck fuse that controls the gauges can be found in the fuse box. The gauge fuse will be in the first column, fourth from the bottom.

Voltage regulator is in computer. Check Alternator, then check computer

The easiest way to reset the ABS light in a 1992 Chevy Lumina is to disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes. When it is reconnected, the light should be reset.

check the fuse in the fuse box below the light switch i believe it is a 20 amp. a previous may have puled this fuse to disable the system

Problem with the SRS. Not a DIY repair as serious injury can occur when working on the SRS. Take it to a professional.

I would guess the level sensor float-arm is stuck - try banging the bottom of the tank with a 2x4 piece of wood - not too hard, just seeing if the arm will come loose.

If not, essentially the only way of getting at the sensor is by dropping the gas tank.

You need to put oil in your Engine!! Do not use youe vehicle until you do as you maybe fitting a new Engine!!!!

Look it up in the owners manual. Every symbol on the dash will be listed in that with a short explanation of its function.

Some of the lights are self-explanatory ... like a little thermometer would be for the water temp ... the oil can drip for the engine oil ... a circle with dashes around it could be the brake pad thinness alarm, etc etc.

Take the cover off the dome light with a flat head screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver carefully into the small indet in the back of the dome light. pry carefully and the cover will pop off. Pull the bulb out and snapo the new one in. For side bulbs you will need to use a Phillips screwdriver and remover the dome light from the ceiling after the cover is removed.

Sounds like the ground for the dash is not good. Check the plug on the back of the instrument cluster is pluged in right.

my 92 Chevrolet corsica has a rectangular signal that appears on my dash. It is a box with wavy lines at the bottom of it. there is an arrow pointing downward. What does this mean. There are no pictures of this symbol in the manual.

your instrument panel lights can be dimmed(thumb wheel switch) down to practically no lights at all on your instrument cluster, this switch should be located most likely on the dash, left hand side of steering column. If this does not fix the problem ,then you have to check your fuse panel to see if you have a burnt out fuse.

Basically, although all other doors are shut, there is still a small draft which is coming in through the closed door, causing another to open slightly.

You should never connect any accessory directly to the battery in a car. If a short happens, you will have the full current capacity of the battery routing through the passenger compartment. The current capacity of a car battery is enough to melt a solid copper 14 gauge wire in a flash. This can easily start a fire.

If you must, go to an auto parts store and buy an in-line fuse kit. Put a 25 or 30 amp fuse in it and use no smaller than 18 gauge wire in your new circuit.

It means 1: If your car is still running, it won't run for much longer.

2: You or someone who doesn't like you poured oil into the distributor, or

3: You're leaking oil (probably from the head or head gasket) into your distributor.
