How do you reset the codes in a 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Page 352 of the Owner's Manual, in the section called "Maintenance Minder" it says: 1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position. 2. Press the Select/Reset knob until the engine oil life indicator is displayed. 3. Press the Select/Reset knob for about 10 seconds. The engine oil life indicator and the maintenance item code(s) will blink. 4. Press the Select/Reset knob for more than 5 seconds. The maintenance items code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life indicator will reset to "100."
Where is the fuse for your in-dash lights and running lights?
Actually, on your paseo, that fuse is located in the panel near the hood release lever. The diagram on the back side of that panel is incorrect for some reason, (or maybe I was reading it wrong) but that's okay, because there really arent many fuses in there, unlike these new cars. I can't recall which one it is exactly, but use a little tester. It will tell which one is blown. You are right, though, the dash lights and running lights are on the same fuse. Hope that helps.
Reset tire pressure warning light astra?
There is no tire pressure warning manual reset for the Astra. Make sure that the tires are properly inflated, and let the engine run for about 10 minutes. If the system is working correctly, then it will reset itself.
Why would FM stations not come in and the dash lights flicker on a 1992 Cadillac Seville?
most likely the harness on the side of the radio, drivers side, has chafed through, pull radio and tape over the wires attached to the side of the radio.
What does the warning light of an orange triangle and exclamation mark mean on a BMW 318 is?
The traction control is either operating (flashing) or is switched off (constantly lit)
What kind of light is the Arrow pointing to water on the dashboard?
On most vehicles this would usually indicate low windshield washer fluid levels.
AnswerOr more likely, if this a GM especially, it's the low coolant light. Try adding some 50/50 antifreeze or maybe just water if it's all you've got and take it your local shop. Antifreeze doesn't evaporate. Check your owner's manual for the symbols used on the dash.==answer=
if the arrow is pointing up it may just be a shift light
Choke light stays on Chevrolet 350?
I just found out that in my little Camaro, my Alternator is bad, and a faulty alternator shows up through your choke light, try replacing, or getting it checked out. ALSO under your dash, right above where your right foot is, there is a control panel, your buzzer is also there, so if your buzzer works, follow the sound. Check the fuses there, maybe ones bad.
Hope I helped.
Whats causing check gauges light to come on?
The check gauges light usually means that one of the gauges is out of its normal range. It could be due to an overheat, a under/over charging alternator, low oil pressure etc
Why did the check gauges light come on?
The check gauges light comes on when one of the gauges is out of its safe range. It could be the alternator over or under charging, oil pressure low, or the engine overheating.

Sounds like bulbs have burned out try replacing them
Yes.
Why would the slip and TRAC light come on on a 1998 infinity Q45?
I am far from being an expert or quasi expert but I do own a 96 Q45 and experienced a similar problem. I was helped or given advice free of charge by my local Infiniti Service Adviser. The problem had to do with the anti-lock braking system and its electrical components. There are two fairly inexpensive relays under the hood that you should try replacing first. My cost for both relays was $48.50 from Infiniti of Scottsdale, Az. (1-800-955-9181). The relays are called the ABS relay assy-valve and the relay assy-actuator. I live in Florida but I order most parts I need from Scottsdale because they are usually much cheaper. The mechanism of concern should be located under the hood at the right rear corner near the fire wall. You should see a little black plastic box mounted to the rear of a silver aluminum mechanism with a number of small metal tubes coming out of it. But you are only concerned with the black plastic box. Remove the cover and you will see the two relays I am talking about. The relays pull right out by pulling up on them. This is what I replaced and solved my problem. Calvin Bryant
you need to pull the dash apart and take the cluster out and the bulbs just twist out
What does Chrysler 300 Dash board warning lights mean?
i have a 07 Chrysler 300 touring and i have a light on the dash that's on but i don't know what it means its yellow on the lower left side it kind of looks like a bowl with jagged bottom and a exclamation point in the middle kind of hard to explain
EDIT: The light you are referring to, the "bowl with a jagged bottom with an exclamation point" is your warning light about the inflation of your tires. It is warning you that you have lower or less than recommended amounts of air in the tires. Fill them to factory spec and the light should go out.
You more than likely have a loose ground wire, but it can also be a hot wire that is loose. Also check the fuse panel to see if the fuse is tight.
If you can manage to get the interior panel off (it is possible with the door closed) you will be able to actuate the release manually. I do not mean the handle. I am talking about the actual catch that holds the door shut. If nothing else call an automotive locksmith. He will not tell you that he has to cut a hole! But it will cost you upwards of $100.00. What does a gauge light that has a key with a circle and a slash on it mean?
The security system warning light.... go to the pass door with the key and lock/unlock 3 or so times to clear. If no success, replace hood pin switch(5.00 part)
How many seconds do you put your blinker on before a turn?
I was found guilty of 'failure to signal a turn" in NY many years ago for not signaling 100 ft before making a turn.
Why do your headlights blink on and off?
havent figured it out, im not sure if its a short circuit.
Headlights "Cutting Out"There could be several reasons depending on how old/new your vehicle is.For example, if your vehicle has a security system that is malfunctioning that could cause the headlights to flash.
On "older" vehicles the most common cause is a short circuit in the headlight wiring system combined with the protective action of the automatically resetting circuit breaker(s) for the headlight circuit.
IF the headlights go out because the fuse "permanently" "blows" while driving at night, it creates a very dangerous situation, for example if you're driving on a dark, moonless night out on the highway in darkness.
To counteract for that many manufacturers put in automatically self-resetting circuit breakers in instead of permanently blowing fuses. With the circuit breakers, upon tripping, almost immediately or within a few seconds, reset, turning the lights back on so you can avoid driving off the road.
IF your car has this system, the cutting out and on of the headlights indicates that there is a short circuit in the headlight wiring system. The "recycling" of the breaker is almost always the result of a short circuit condition in the wiring of the circuit in which the breaker is installed. See additional answer below regarding fuses that blow on replacement, or circuit breakers which repeatedly trip.
Fuses That "Blow" Repeatedly
Fuses [and Circuit Breakers] are safety devices designed and installed in electrical circuits TO PROTECT the conductors [wires] from short circuits and overload conditions which can cause extreme overheating that can result in damage to the insulation and the conductors. And worse the possibility of a FIRE which could destroy the vehicle, house, or other structure in which the circuit is located.
When a fuse [and replacement fuses or Circuit Breakers] "blow," especially if it happens repeatedly, is an indication of an UNSAFE CONDITION in that circuit, usually a short.
The proper "fix" is for a qualified technician, who knows what he/she is doing, to troubleshoot the circuit, find and identify the defect, and make proper repair [s], BEFORE replacing the fuse again [with the properly sized fuse or circuit breaker].
Some ignorant few will suggest installing a larger fuse or breaker to solve the problem, BUT that will only amplify the problem, not solve it. Do not follow "bad" advice and install a larger fuse in a misguided attempt to correct the problem. To install a larger fuse would almost guarantee damage to the wiring and an electrical system fire.
How do you change the dash lights on a 1995 explorer?
You first have to remove the piece of dash trim that is on the inside of the instrument area. Usually just a couple of screws. Remove this piece then you should be able to get to the screws that hold the instrument cluster on. It should be just one big piece. Pull the piece out gentle and undo enough of the connections so that you can change the bulb\bulbs. Oh yeah you might have to remove the out dash piece so that the inner piece will come out. It should just be attched by clips. Pull it and it should come undone. It will sound like it is breaking, but shouldnt. It snaps in and out. Hope this helps.
If your parking lights and dash lights are out and it is not the fuses what could be wrong?
The Headlight switch is where the dash receives it's power from.
