Depends on what is meant by "dangerous".

The warning light comes on when the engine management computer detects a fault with one of the many sensors that are on modern fuel-injected engines.

Some of these sensors play a vital role in keeping the engine running, others do not.

The warning light is like "pain". Pain in ones big toe is not "dangerous" but the same pain in the chest is. One is an ingrowing toe-nail, the other is a Heart-attack.

In the worst case the crank-shaft position sensor might be giving a false reading and cause the engine to cut out at 70 on the motorway, in the fast lane, in heavy traffic, and cause an accident (the Heart-attack) which could be dangerous. On the other hand it might be that the "air temp sensor" is reading -150oc which is clearly never going to be true, so puts the light on (an growing toe-nail). At worst this will cause very slight loss of power and perhaps slightly higher fuel consumption.

To answer the question briefly "It is a warning light." it is warning you of a fault. Ignore it at your own peril.

The abs light wll come on if there is a fault with your abs system. It does not necessarily mean you have serious problems, although at some point it might be. Since you have one abs sensor on each wheel it could be that one of them went bad, another thing is your abs pump or that you got air in the brake lines. Hope this helps.

The directions that come with your vehicle are lousy, and the process stinks to. And keep in mind that if you do not press the buttons fast enough, or hold long enough, you must start over. It usually takes a few tries. Here's how to do it: 1.) Press the TRIP/RESET button to cycle to "SETUP MENU HOLD RESET". 2.) Now press and hold the button for 2 seconds until "RESET FOR SYSTEM CHECK" is displayed, then release. 3.) Imediately press and hold button for 2 more seconds until "Oil 100% RESET IF NEW" is displayed, then release. 4.) Imediately press button once to display "HOLD RESET IF NEW OIL" and release. 5.) Imediately press and hold button for 2 seconds until "OIL LIFE SET TO 100%" is displayed. If you have done this dance properly, without delaying too long between steps, you are done. The car can be taken out of test mode by pressing the reset button (beside speedometer) on the instrumentation panel.

When you open the passeger side door you will see a cover for the fuse panel on the right side of the dash board. On the back of the cover is a list of all the fuse circuits. There is also a fuse block in the engine compartment mounted on the driver's side wheel well behind the windshield washer reservoir. It may be in there labeled "parking lights". Your owner's manual contains all this information. Don't have one then get one. Dealer, salvage yard, E-Bay, or a Google Search are sources.

There are three bulbs and you'll probably want to change all three.

1. Use a flat screwdriver or old spoon to level the bottom of the fascia. The clip at the front is quite long.
2. The cover is held by two more clips on either side of the multifunction display. So grasp the cover on either side and pull backwards.
3. Display is held by two torx 20 bolts. Be careful not to drop the bolts.
4. Bulbs are held by twist connectors. Twist to remove.


Clean the bulbs before you insert them.

The green "S" light is Sport mode. It changes your transmission's shift points for increased performance.

Low brake fluid, potential brake failure, bad master cylinder. Get it checked quickly, as it could be dangerous.

I think you are referring to the Oil Pressure Gauge at the top of the dials and on the gauge with L and H either side. If this reaches H start to worry and Stop immediately

Your description is probably the low coolant indicator light. Even if the coolant isn't low, sometimes a sensor can give a false reading.

Low coolant

The initial draw of electricity causes a fluctuation in voltage until all the internal capacitors are charged. After that the unit won't draw as much voltage and current.

If it's on it means the computer has detected a fault with a component. You should get it checked out. If your engine light comes on you need to have your car serviced. An auto parts store or a mechanic can hook your car up to a computer diagnostic machine and tell you exactly what needs to be worked on.

Than your probably out or almost out of oil !!! DO NOT DRIVE IT OR YOU COULD DO RUIN YOUR ENGINE!!!!
