it is just letting you know your traction control is on. it is allowing your vehicle to get better traction by limiting torque to your tires so they grip instead of slipping

There is no fuse it is a common fault, it is a component blown in your cluster, contact yout renault dealer to replace that component.

there could be many causes. most likely the switch is going out if its dash mounted try removing is and use a jumper to bypass the switch if they dont blink you switch is bad. if its on the steering colum you may want to ask for a way to test that it

Alas you have a broken wire between the headlight switch and the fuse panel . pull the headlight out and check the wire connector,possibly add a jumper from another powered up circuit there.

It is very easy. There are a couple screws holding the outer frame. take them out and u will see more scews take them out too. you can just pull it out now.

Typically the problem lies with the rheostat, the knob you turn to make the dash lights brighter or dimmer. When you turn the knob a little metal finger rubs along a circular spring changing the resistance, thus changing the intensity of illumination. That spring gets corroded. You can clean it, or you can replace it.

Taking a guess, Your 1988 5th Ave has a 318ci motor with Lean-Burn Engine control. Chrysler put the control module in the rectangle box attached to the side of the air cleaner. All of the engine control module is inside that box to include the transistorized ignition system. Your distributor will have two pickup coils in it and not have a vacumn advance located on the side of it which will be another way of telling if you have the Lean-Burn system.

You will need to have the entire computer system checked for trouble codes. At minimum the abs and airbag coomputers will have cods with those lights staying on. If you know the code numbers you can then diagnose.

A blown fuse can cause the dashlights and taillights to stop working on a 2001 Dodge 1500.

Remove: 2 instrument cluster bezel screws, on underside above steering wheel. 1 screw under left side A/C duct, 2 screws under HVAC control assembly, 1 screw behind control assembly. Disconnect HVAC control assembly. Loosen bezel by pulling out of clips holding it in. Disconnect electrical connectors for any switches in lower left side of bezel. Disconnect headlamp switch. Remove bezel. If there is enough clearance not all of the steps below may be necessary. Remove engine cover and lower instrument panel insulator. Disconnect PRNDL shift cable.

Remove 2 screws from cluster assembly and pull assembly forward. Lamp and socket assemblies are one piece and can now be removed by turning the assembly and pulling it out. Replace lamps and sockets as one piece. Change them all now!! There are 6 #194's and 10 # 74's.

To reassemble, re-install the cluster and reconnect all connectors. With the transmission shift lever in neutral, pull on shift cable until the needle indicates neutral. Attach cable securely to lower shift bowl. Make sure needle is centered on the N. The cable must rest on the shift bowl and not the column jacket. Re-install the lower I/P insulator and engine cover. Reconnect all connectors to light switch and accessory switches and reinstall bezel cover. Reinstall HVAC controls and tighten all screws to 12 inch pounds of torque.

The above info is from the 1995 service manual. The dash boards are pretty much the same as 1992. I had a 1991 and a 1995.

That is most likely the Check Engine Light. In most usual cases, it's just a faulty sensor you need to replace. Any dealer of your brand of vehicle has code readers for these lights and could tell you what sensor is faulty. Beware, they can be costly though. Anything computer is. I believe you would not pass inspection if this was not fixed. Now if the Service Vehicle Soon light came on, stop driving it, you'd have a major issue that could kill the engine.

disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes, if it comes back on after you drive the computer is getting an error code from the engine check the codes to see whats causing it

Bad stepper motor in instrument cluster. Very common problem. Search for "speedometer whizard" in Google.

Normally the alternator is defective. It can also be a loose alternator drive belt, or defective voltage regulator.

if you feel underneath the dashboard to the right of the steering column; you will find a button. push and hold it until the light goes off. It is hard to feel, it is probably best to just get down there and look for it. In my 1999 integra it is a little square blue button.

The computer had to be reset. Had the same problem and thought it was a sensor but only took the computer being "reset" by the dealership. Cost $200 in Dallas area.

The problem is not with the computer.

There are many different lights and indicators on the dashboard. For example, one will indicate the level of washer fluid in the windshield wipers, one will light up when the car is low on gasoline, one will illuminate when the engine needs servicing.
