The objective of dodge ball is to get all of the opposition players out by hitting them with the ball and the opposition team not caching a thrown ball by your team ... If the ball is cough by either team the thrower is out and the teams first team mate that was first out gets to come back in the game and subsequently your whole team can get back in the game this way ... You can use the ball to block and or deflect an attempted hit but if the ball hits another player or is caught before hitting the ground while "blocking" the ball the privies rules apply ...
Make a sign of two hands, One with a dodgeball and one with a lightning bolt.
Also make lightning bolt a big one on the back of the t-shirts.
Or make a sign with a lightning bolt carrying a dodgeball on the end.

Dodgeball or variations of it no doubt had appeared in public school physical education classes since we can remember, however in print, it can be traced back to as early as the 1900's. At the time, the ball of choice was in fact, a basketball and not the oh so feared 8.5inch red rubber balls you hear people complaining to date.
Obviously throughout the decades it evolved into more or less a gym class activity in which those that could throw excelled over those that could not, giving it that stigma of a bully's wet dream.
It wasn't until the formation of the National Amateur Dodgeball Association in the early 2000's that Dodgeball began to take on a more team oriented makeup with emphasis on structure. With their 2002 Great Pumpkin Tournament (http://www.dodgeballusa.com/gallery/02pumpkinpics.html) it is easy to show that it did in fact predate "The Movie."
With the formation of the National Dodgeball League in early 2004, the NDL and the NADA were poised to take advantage of the surge in interest created by the movie. Throughout the years teams and players came and go but as the novelty died out, those that really took a liking to the game formed their own organizations and worked with the National entities like the NDL and the NADA to help develop the sport and its growth.
What was born in the American gyms of the early 1900's is no where near what Dodgeball is now.
1 Referees will be positioned, during game play, at the center line, on one side of the court. A Referee's primary responsibility is to serve as an arbitrator for difficult calls, start and maintain game flow, ensure safety of all participants and spectators, and enforce the Sportsmanship Code.
That is not always true. A lot of times you can have up to twelve or more players on each team.
Well would you like your kid coming home with a bloody nose cause a teacher told a kid to
It is estimated that Dodgeball started back in the Caveman Era. Where cavemen, frustrated by the sun in their eyes, hurled rocks at the sun. When they came down, some caveman would be killed while others learned to "dodge" the rocks. This carried over into the Egyptian era to where they pharaoh would hold weekly "Dodgeball tournaments". Slowly but surly it evolved into what dodgeball is today.
About Dodgeball:
* There are two teams
* The goal is to eliminate members of the opposite team until none are left
* A player is eliminated if the ball touches them. It does not count if they get hit in the head, or groin areas. If it bounces before it hits them, it does not count.
* If a player catches the ball, then the player who through it is out
* if someone catches the ball on your team, or if someone on the other team gets out, you get back in the game

The Dodgeball pitch is the same size of a basketball court.
you get the ball and you try to hit the opposing team with it and if u hit them there out but if they catch the ball your out. keep throwing the balls until their whole team has been eliminated
Basically just throw the balls at the other team and don't get hit.
if you get hit with the ball you are out until someone catches the ball then who ever threw the ball is out and the last person that was is back in
