If you are treating a particular infection with an antibiotic the infection should be gone by the time the prescribed dose is finished. if it is not then the treatment should continue or be changed immediately.

Doctors won't normally recommend it, but you can. In addition to the high amount of Percocet that I use, I also have severe migraines, which affects a different part of the nervous system that Percocet won't affect.

In those cases I use a drug call Fiorinal with Codeine, which is a combination drug containing Butalbital, Aspirin and Codeine, with a shot of Caffeine as well. I don't feel any problems from the interaction, and Percocet opiate levels are at pretty high levels in my system.

Every person is different though, so even though you can take them together doesn't mean you should or that it will affect you the same as it does me. Always check with your MD first or your Pharmacist. Pharmacists are usually more up front and honest than MD's are.

If the Klonopin is new don't take more than your supposed too but, yeah. Should be no problem. It'll shallow your breath more than one or the other will but again, it really depends on your size. Height and weight. I take 10mgs of Klonopin, 90mgs morphine, 400mgs ultram, and 60 mgs of ritilian a day and I'm 5'9". 170lbs. if that helps you make up your mind but I've been doing this for 10 years. You're fine, just make sure to breathe and if you have respiratory problems, just be careful.

I may be two little to answer this question but. If your friends take drugs then they will get arrested, but maybe the cops will have to check you up just in case if you are not taking drugs. This is the moral of the story; if you take drugs it's a crime

You will always be pressured to try it, always benign told its OK. Well get the facts first before you try something you will regret later. Hydromorphone does not have acetaminophen or Tylenol and Vicodin does. Some people take Hydromorphone for all day pain relief and the Vicodin for break-thru pain.

You cannot mix any medication that has acetaminophen with Vicodin or anything that has acetaminophen in it, and should always take drugs only under a doctor's care.

Yes, you can in the sense that there are no identified adverse interactions between them. If you are taking colchicine to prevent gout attacks along with a uric acid lowering drug and experience an attack, an anti-inflammatory can be added. Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. However, your doctor will most likely recommend naproxen, sulindac, or indomethacin instead given that you do not have ulcers in the stomach or upper part of the intestine.

Moreover, some health plans allow a female patient to designate a gynecologist as their primary care provider, and so that physician may be called upon to treat the full range of medical conditions that are usually addressed at that level.

Remember, the fetus is still developing in the womb. What it experiences there it "perceives" as being normal, so if there are drugs in the woman's body, the baby will be born with its brain "wired" to believe that having the effects of a drug is normal. When the drug is not given to the baby after it is born, its brain has to re-adjust to not having the drug thus it will experience withdrawal symptoms. As long as you have drugs in your system, the baby will have drugs in his or her system, both while in the womb and after birth (except after birth, of course, the baby is no longer receiving the drugs you abuse - but it will remain there just as long as it would remain in your system).

The baby will be born addicted. Not a very nice thing to have to contend with as soon as it is born apart from coping with life outside of the womb. This is why heroin addicted babies have an extremely difficult time and have a very high pitched, keening cry. The hospital staff can tell whether the baby is addicted to drugs upon its birth within minutes of delivery. These cases must be reported to CPS (Child Protective Services) and other involved officials (such as police) immediately by the staff according to hospital policy. This means, you have a high risk of losing your baby to CPS before you even have a chance to meet and really get to know your baby. Sometimes, though, CPS will only require the mother to attend various substance abuse programs (such as rehabilitation and/or NA meetings) in order to be allowed to retain custody of the new baby. It will really depend upon the type of drug found in the baby's and mother's systems.

Keep in mind, though, how much it sucks for you when you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms and how sick you get during that time. Do you really want your new baby to have to experience that kind of illness after birth, especially since the baby didn't have the option to choose whether or not he or she wanted to even partake in the use of those drugs?

Depends on the drug. If it is opiates then it does what it says it will do and increase the effect. But if it is Ambien then you need to be careful or you might keep sleeping if it is your first try then small doses till your body can meet you. I'm a over 10 year drug addict (recovering) so please be careful.

That depends on the drug. Many drugs have serious negative consequences when combined with alcohol intake. Sometimes the effect is just decreasing the effectiveness of the drug, but it can be more serious. As the previous answerer already noted, combining opiates with alcohol can increase the effect of the drug - with negative effects up to and including death.

As with all drugs, if you are one who indulges in an alcoholic drink now and then, you need to talk with your doctor and/or pharmacist about potential interactions of any drugs with the alcohol.

Stimulant.

Methadone and Suboxone should not be mixed together. The combination of these two drugs can result in instant withdrawals.

Lexapro is an SSRI( Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor). Theraflu only interacts with medications known as MAOI's(Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor). Therefore, since SSRI's and MAOI's are two different types of medications, you may take the recommended dose of Theraflu along with a prescription dose of Lexapro.

Yes, I am on 10 mg lortab every six hours for pain and for some reason--unrelated to the lortab, I tend to get bacterial vaginosis & yeast infections frequently so I take metronidazole a lot...Just came off of it, actually. But DO NOT drink ANYTHING with alcohol in it while taking the metronidazole or you will be sooo sick...Nausea & vomiting...No fun! Other than that, totally safe!! :)

Gabapentin is used as an anti-seizure medication, also for migraines, also for neuropathy and other pain disorders, also as a mood stabilizer.

Yes, but no more than that. If you know taking more than 8mg of ibuprofen in 6-8 hours (3200 mg in 24 hours) is too much. More than 1000 mg acetaminophen in 6-8 hours (4000 mg in 24) is too much. That tab has 750 mg acetaminophen and it will be mixed with 800 mg of ibuprofen which mixed is getting close to the limit.

My Dr/Surgeon prescribed Lyrica for my leg pain after a spinal fusion and I specifically asked him this question because I had been taking vicodin for pain. He said it would be ok to do so. The only thing you have to be aware of is that they both can make you drowsey so you shouldn't be planning to do much of anything until you are sure of how it is going to make you feel.

NO NO NO!! I learned from experience!! A BAD ONE!! my doc never told me the reaction! Taking Fioricet wipes ALL of the Methadone from your system! For two weeks I dealt with HORRIBLE detox symptoms and thought I was dying! Did some research, stopped the Fioricet and after about 3 days I was 100% better!
