Where is the EGR valve located in a 2000 Nissan Maxima GLE?
intake area everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual available in the reference section for FREE to make copies of...read up and fix like a pro!! :) Dave
Where can I find a climate control wiring diagram for a 2006 Chevy Impala?
When fixing problems in a car, a diagram will help make sure the changes are made correctly. The wiring diagram for this car's climate control is found in its maintenance and repair manual.

Where is the egr valve situated on zafira 1600?
The EGR valves are normally circular in shape, they have an electrical connection on the top, normally fitted near to or on the inlet manifold.
Where is the PCV valve on a 1990 Ford Mustang 2.3L?
I am currently looking for it. Two different auto parts stores couldn't find it on my 2.3 4 cylinder 1989 Mustang. But they both can sell it to me. Lol! I hope to find it before long. If anybody knows that reads this before then, post it here. I have a Chilton Mustang book for it. It tells you where the PCV valve is ... IF YOU HAVE A 5.0!!!! Gee thanks. When you get a new car, make sure they can tell you where all the maintenance parts are. There's no reason to pay somebody to do this easy stuff. But you have to be able to find the pcv valve, the fuel filter, the air filter. Even if you're a millionaire, it's good for the boy to get under a hood sometimes. But you have to be able to find it. I think it's really crappy of Chilton's to sell me a book that doesn't include the location of the 2.3 pcv valve because they say this is where you find the 5.0 pcv tells us they know it doesn't tell us where the 2.3 pcv valve is, and yet they STILL don't tell us where that 2.3 is, even knowing they haven't pointed it out yet. Maybe Chilton books aren't made in America?

Where is the EGR valve located in a 1993 Grand Marquis 4.0 engine?
I believe it is hidden, near the firewall, just below the transmission dip stick.
How to test - replace the EGR valve - DPFE Sensors on Windstar?
This is a pretty straight forward replacement - only 2 mounting bolts, a vacuum hose and one other pipe that'll come off with an adjustable wrench.
NOTE: this notice is from the Autozone.com site regarding the EGR valve:
* **Caution!!** Before replacing the EGR Valve, inspect the DPFE/EGR Valve Pressure Feedback Sensor and hoses for proper operation. It is common for a DPFE sensor to set a trouble code See "Related Links" below for the DPFE sensor section of Autozone's online repair guide. It is located at the back of the engine on the top between the engine block and the front windshield. It should be black or chrome colored and kind of looks like a disk, with a small vacuum hose coming out the top of it. Just replaced mine in my Taurus today. Amanda nothing tricky, just be sure to clean the gasket surfaces...also You should be able to find a shop manual at your local library with the right info...make copies as they are usually only in the REFERENCE section....good luck:) its located next to the air inlet boot this is the boot that comes from the air cleaner housing the valve should be round black and has a vacuum line going to it But, if you are replacing it because there is a code for it you need to make sure that the valve is cause of it most fords had a problem with a sensor called a DPFE sensor which stands for differential pressure feedback exhaust sensor the problem is they would get moisture from the exhaust causing them to short out on most 99 models the egr valve is connected to the intake manifold. If you look at the top of the engine, while in front of the vehicle with the hood up,look just to the right at the right side of the valve cover tou will see a round shaped two inch thick just underneath clean air intake plenum tube also knownasthe air intake plenumtube hooks to the fender in most vans however this can be a tricky part to replace I sugest you get a chilton or haynes manual to help you out. Just look it up in the index or glossary and read the passage severaltimes before starting the work also pay close atention to how it comes of and apart because installation of the new valve will be reverse the procedure GOOD LUCK and GOD SPEED ---- It is attached to the throttle body. The throttle body is attached to the intake. Look for the large aluminum piece that will say ford, this is the intake. Look for the large tube going in to it, probably from the left if you are facing the windshield. where the large tube goes into the intake, it will first go into another piece of metal with wires etc going into it, this is the throttle body, the egr is on the throttle body. ---- I can answer my own question!! With help from a mechanic friend of mine...back ,top, center of engine, you will find the pod...Good luck to anyone trying to reach it, looks unreachable to me, barely viewable... ---- EGR Valve Inspect | Test | Replace There are many variations from one vehicle application to the next in emission control systems and calibration. Therefore, it is extremely important that you get the correct replacement exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve for the application. Two EGR valves may look identical, but be calibrated differently in terms of flow and the amount of vacuum and/or back-pressure it takes to open the valve. Therefore, you may have to refer to the vehicle's VIN number as well as year, make, model and engine size when ordering a replacement EGR valve. If may also be necessary to refer to the OEM part number on the old EGR valve (if possible) when ordering a replacement. If so, don't throw the old EGR valve away until you have installed the new one and made sure it's working correctly. Many aftermarket EGR valves are "consolidated," so fewer part numbers are necessary to cover a wider range of vehicle applications. Some of these valves use interchangeable restricters to alter their flow characteristics. Follow the suppliers instructions as to which restricter to use for the correct calibration. ---- This part cannot be cleaned....you can check it for replacement by allowing the engine to warm up and you should be able to move the diaphragm in with your finger (from behind)the egr...the factory default is sealed in the front
See "Related Questions" below for a similar discussion over in Taurus group - it all applies quite well to the Windstar ---- Real easy to spot-- Look to the LH side of the engine-- towards front-- It's a little black plastic box 1 inch by 1 1/2 inches square, 2 hoses connect to the bottom of it, and an electrical connector off tot the side. To disconnect the connector you have to squeeze a tab first before pulling, remember!
your check engine light will come and give a code for emmission can't remember the code. Put I had the same problem on my 2001 Ford Ranger.
Where is the EGR valve on a 1986 Mazda B2000?
The EGR valve is located below the carburetor on the intake manifold on the passenger side of the engine compartment. The EGR passageway runs from #1 exhaust port through the cylinder head and intake manifold. The EGR valve is controlled with engine vacuum that is modulated by a computer controlled solenoid. Mounted inside the EGR valve is a pintle position sensor, when the computer detects it is not moving when vacuum is applied the computer triggers a code for the EGR. Removing carbon build up and then reset the computer to bring the EGR back into normal operation.
See attached link for diagram showing location.

Where is the EGR valve located on a 2001 F-150 4.2 V6?
If you look at engine straight on it should be at the top of the engine toward the back. It should look metallic and circular shaped. Hope that helps.
Where do the vacuum lines run off the egr valve on a 1985 Z28 tuned port camaro?
it should be right off your intake manifold.
Where is the egr valve located on a 98 Malibu 3.1?
on right hand side of engine,on drivers side by back valve cover.it is round and has wires going to it on top!
Where is the egr valve on a 1994 3.0L V6 Ford Ranger?
I've been researching this as well, and have found others saying that some of these trucks aren't equiped with an EGR system. A truck without the egr will have a capped off spot right next to the Idle Air Control valve on the top-drivers side of the intake manifold. The EGR valve goes in this capped hole. My truck has the capped hole and no EGR.
Either wire harness or computer. Try bulk head connector at firewall, computer is located behind glove box, cost about $100 at autozone, you have to change out the e-prom from your old unit to new one.
Chrysler sebring egr valve location?
on a 2.5l it is mounted on the intake plennum in the back against the firewall
Where on the engine on a Plymouth Neon is the EGR valve?
It is on the side of the head, over the transmision.
Trouble code P0420 means:Catalyst system efficiency below threshold
Thank-you for including the year/make/model and engine size as this was critical to my answer. The quad four has a funny ignition system, on top of the motor the is a plate with a couple bolts, remove this. Under the plate there is a ignition coil and module assy. There are also 4 boots the extend down into where the spark plugs lay. Remove each plug and check the condition of them. I would bet they are black from excessive carbon due to lack of detonation in the cylinders. If so I would be also willing to say there is a excellent probability the problem is in one or both of the coils and or the ignition module. If it were mine, I would replace the ignition module, both coil packs, spark plugs and the boots going to the plugs. If you look at the boots, the probably have a yellow-brown appearance at the base of them nearest the plugs. Or if you enjoy taking it a part and putting it back together, start with the module, boots and plugs. It is imperitive you change the oil. Fuel in the oil is getting there from the fuel not being fully ignited in the cylinders and draining into the oil. The fuel acts as a cleaner and washes the oil of the internal parts of the engine preventing lubrication. This will ruin the engine. Obviously change the filter as well. Carbon is a by-product of combustion. Poor combustion will provide more carbon. This is the black that you see. I would expect the check engine light to have come on with this condition. The catalytic converter can be compromised with this condition as unburned fuel can reach the converter and damage it as well. Since the engine is not combusting properly, the lack of power will be present, thus the surging. Be sure to get the correct spark plugs that this motor originally came with. I prefer Autolite or AC Delco regarding the brand. Get a quality brand coil and module such as Standard, Delco or Napa. Stay away from cheap, generic or white box ones. I also do not like any Autozone electrical componenets. IF you are going to fret over cost, then get a used coil/module assy from a junk yard, new plugs and boots. Good luck, post you findings please.
What are signs that you have a bad EGR valve in a 1997 Jimmy Vortec V6?
The signs that I had were rough, and I mean ROUGH, idling and heavy soot from the exhaust. The EGR was coated with carbon soot, and can be cleaned with a small brush like you would use to clean a small beard trimmer. HOWEVER, it turned out to be the spider fuel injection and it needed to be replaced. But the EGR still needed to be cleaned. Those bastards are expensive!
Using the diagnostic tool that reads the engine codes, clear out the codes and try reading it again. I had the same problem on my 97 geo metro. If the answer above didn't help, replace the O2 sensors, and retry the above answer.
