Why are ferrets illegal in Hawaii?
Ooh, this is a good one. It's difficult to explain but I'll try my best. Well, there are sometime laws that ban owning hamsters for certain reasons in certain places.
In California the Chinese Hamster was banned because the wild ones ruined their crops.
In Hawaii they must have their reasons. I'll try to do some more research about Hawaii.
Hope this helps--

Is it true that the honey badger has eaten so much honey that is a anti venom against snake bites?
No. The honey badger has a natural immunity to various forms of snake venom that allows it to eat snakes with minor ill effect. This immunity is present because, like mongooses, honey badgers have nicotinic acetylcholine receptors that are slightly different from those of other animals in that they disallow venom to bind to them, which prevents the venom from blocking nerve signals that are sent to the brain. This prevents the stunning effect of specific snake venom that often causes animals to die from the lack of movements necessary to sustain life, such as breathing.
What effort were made to increase the size of the black-footed ferret population?
Considered virtually extinct, a small population was found in Wyoming in the 80's. Captive breeding programs have been successful, and now nearly 2500 ferrets roam the plains again.
Simply put, yes. Basically any mammal female with young offspring have the ability to produce milk, this is because that is how mammal newborns get their nutrition until they are old and developed enough to eat solid food. That being said, while it is possible to collect and drink badger milk, I have never heard of anyone doing that (except of course in that stupid movie The Animal.) Also, badgers are not exactly large animals so it should go without saying that compared to a cow they are not going to produce much milk so if you wanted a full 8 oz. glass of badger milk it would probably take about 8-10 female badgers' milk in order to collect that much. I also imagine that it would taste pretty horrid and be very difficult to milk a badger in the first place. Still, the nasty taste, the fact that you need a lot of badgers and the difficulty in milking them are all worth the work because we all know (according to Rob Schneider) that badger milk can give you superhuman strength and abilities.
