Yes the engine will fit as well as the oringinal engine since they are block wise the same engine. Wireing how ever is a bit different as well as a few other items are located in different places. You are going to have 2 holes in the turbo block that the non-turbo didn't have. The oil feed line hole for the turbo and the oil return pipe hole for the turbo! The blocks are DIFFERENT

i SPENT ALOT OF TIME RESEARCHING NEW DIESEL ...i HAVE HEARD 2 THINGS IN REGARDS TO YOUR QUESTION...BAD INJECTORS OR NEEDS TO BE "REFLASHED" ....TECHNICAL TERM FOR REPROGRAMMING VIA THE DEALERSHIP If it's a later Job Build 2 or 3 I would lean more towards it being a weak/bad High Pressure fuel pump, also could be a clogged DPF. Mine didn't smoke but would hesistate, had a reflash done that was supposed to help with the regen process and helped a lot.

depends. i have a 93 Chevy cheyenne half ton 4x4 with oversized tires. if you have a 4x4 they'll prolly fit but you might have to crank your torsion bars up in the front. if you have a 2wd then they most likely wont because the suspension sits lower in the front and you cant crank torsion bars on them. id go with 31's if anything because if you mud with the truck they wont hit or rub much at all and they still look nice with the torsion bars cranked a little.

Try looking under the hood along the fire wall.It could be 1 inch by 1 inch ,or 1 inch by 2 inch.Test by placing fingers over relay,while a helper turns the ignition key to the "on" position(being careful not to turn over starter- remember you are working under the hood be safe)you will feel the relay opening under your fingers as the key in ignition is turned to "on" position,it will feel like a click under your fingers.Repeat on relays until you locate fuel pump relay.I have found that on 1985 2.5Lfuel injected carbuerater buick century station wagon, the fuel pump relay to be on passenger side by fire wall the relay on the right in a group of two relays in one bracket secured to firewall.
