I have had this issue with my old 92, if the radio stopped working too, it is because of a fuse. on the few I have worked on it seemed to be a common theme. just keep a stock of fuses unless you want to rewire the fusebox.

The fuel presure for the 2.9 liter V6 in a Ford RANGER is ( 30 to 40 PSI )

I assume your Ford Bronco II , 2.9 would be the same

I had the same question, I looked in my Chiltons manual and it was useless as it normally is. On a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic with the 4.0 straight six, the lower line is the return line. It depends on what kind of vehicle you are working on, I assume not all are the same. I tested it the hard way, removed the upper line and turned on the engine.....be aware you will lose fluid if you try this. Once I had my answer I turned off the engine, only took 2 seconds and I lost enough fluid that I will now have to add some.

take the back seat out and there should be a thin metal plate with four screws in the middle of the car take that off then you will see the top of the gas tank take the 8 screws out of there and the pump is under that plate

The '84 came with a 2.8L. Firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. Distributor rotates clockwise. Cylinder #s: passenger side from front: 1,2,3. Driver's side from front: 4,5,6

The Pressure Has To Be Arround 30 to 40 psi

There is a known problem with the steering assembly on most Tahoe's that Chevy denies to this day. They claim that it is within factory tolorances and is acceptable and not covered under warranty. Note: Before you start this project, take out the floor mat and lay down some plastic bags to protect the carpet. If you look under the hood and located the steering coming out of the firewall, you will see a rubber boot. That boot covers a U joint, which in most cases is the problem. Now, under the dash follow the steering column down to the firewall and gently remove the casing foam and sealer from the junction where the steering goes through the firewall. Chevy suggests that the joint be lubricated with white Lithium grease, which in most cases is expensive. I used a grease gun with a high grade, high temp grease and then capped off the top with a high grade bearing grease. The bearing, or axle grease acts as a dam and seak the joint from the inside. It's hard to see how much you need, but I would guess that I used at least 1/2 to 3/4 of a tube from the grease gun, and additionaly a half a can of bearing (axle) grease. Now you can put the foam gasket back on and return the boot back to the normal position. If the rattling is still there just repeat the process and put a little more grease in the joint as described above. This worked for me, and I hope it helps you out.

My 91 Bronco did the same thing before I found a crack in the passenger side exhaust manifold. Replaced with 50 state smog legle headers and a new O2 sensor and fixed the problem.

I had a 94 CROWN VICTORIA and i needed a heater core so I looked into doing it myself. You have to tear down the whole dash. A 3-4 hour job for an experineced mechanic. So you are looking at a 300-400 dollar repair. The part Oem cost only about $70 but it is labor intensive.. Good Luck.
