Where is the egr valve for 7.3L ford diesel?
A 7.3L Ford diesel does not have a egr valve due to the fact that emission laws were not as stringent as they are now. Starting in mid 2003 (because 2 engines were produced by ford that year 7.3L and 6.0L) the emission laws changed for all diesel engines. This was the year they also went to ultra low sulfur fuel and the price of diesel doubled!! Thank the EPA for this one. Can't complain we voted for the people in government that rubs the backs of people in the EPA to make these standards so that more money is put into every-ones pocket except for ours the consumer..... all we get is "cleaner" air to breath and the warm cuddly feeling that global warming isn't going to happen that we are saved........ for one global warming doesn't exist. Their are thousands of studies disproving it. Scientists that do the studies saying it exists admit that it hasn't been proven that it only speculation. Nothings going to change air quality because we still have country's like china (1 billion strong) that have zero emission laws and are polluting the air at a rate of 1000 times faster then all of the worlds "clean" burning engines combined. So what's the point.... we would have to first get rid of china and thats only one country. Still thousands are without emission laws and are polluting the air faster then we can clean our engines up. Cleaner engines isn't the answer.... they need the technology and drive to to the same as the country's that have these laws. Change that, not our bank account balances and say we are changing the air quality with clean engines when we clearly are NOT. So if you have a 6.0L this engine does have a EGR valve it's located right by the alternator and oil/fuel filter housing. Their is two 8mm bolts hold it down.

Yep. Don't run it this way. This means that water is also in the oil and will ruin the engine. I found out the hard way.

Axle should be secured by 4 bolts accessible by hole in side of hub rotate to align with bolt
Remove 4 bolts
Axle should slide out
Bring to a machine shop to remove back plate and replace seal and bearing?

Disconnect the ground cables from (both) batteries. Slide under the passengers side, behind the front tire and remove two wires and three bolts from starter. I believe the bolts are 17mm.

water pump on 7.3 diesel is the easiest pump to change on and engine
remove serpentine belt
remove bottom radiator hose at radiator this will dump coolant so prolly put a pan under vehicle to catch coolant
remove both radiator and heater hoses from water pump
remove fan and fan clutch from water pump
note fan cluth is left hand thread
u can remove fan without removing radiator shroud
remove water pump from engine block,and from meomory u will need a 10 mil socket to remove this
clean old gasket, etc from where pump mounts
change out any plugs and fittings from old pump to new pump
install new pump with new gasket
to finish just reassemble all you took off
note: to refill radiator,fill thru overflow bottle not thru radiator cap if there is a radiator cap

How do you remove the radiator on a 2008 e350 diesel?
Drain, remove upper/lower hoses, fan & shroud. Remove top mount plate (if applicable) Lift straight up.
How do you remove a factory stereo from a 2006 ford f 150?
2) Reach underneath the trim plate and gently, but firmly pull both the left and right lower edges of the trim plate that cover the radio. Pull until the trim plate pops out. Don't worry it's fairly sturdy. (There are six clips on the trim plate. 2 on the bottom, 2 on the sides of the radio and 2 at the top.)
3) Press and disconnect the clip to the airbag light at top.
4) Remove any white plastic clips that may stay stuck on the dash and replace them on to the trim plate. You can use a flat head screw driver and a needle nose pliers to gently pull them out.
4) Pull the trim plate forward, so it's out of your way and let it hang from the wires.
5) Remove the four black screws holding the radio.
6) Remove the electrical connector on the back of the radio and pull out the antenna cable.
You're now ready to install the replacement.

Turn ignition to RUN or ACC. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located In RR qtr panel area. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. Press any button on 1st transmitter. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. Press any button on 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters total possible). Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

White smoke is water vapor (or coolant) in the exhaust, the black smoke is the (normal) over-rich condition at WOT (full acceleration)
White smoke can also be unburned fuel, generally seen on earlier, non-electronic engines that are mistimed.

Does a 2000 pontiac gran am 4 cyl. Have an egr valve all that parts stores have is a gasket. Gm says it does not have one. Car shakes and shimmies when you stop at an intersection which everyone says check the EGR valve
