The even worse 6.4L it to was produced by international and has many problems just like the 6.0L does. In 2011-2012 ford is done with international and built their own in house diesel. It's a 6.7L powerstroke and is doing very well with no big issues, yet only time will tell. The other 2 had many problems by now so its looking good, not to mention it has 800Ft of torque.

No. At least they didn't USED to all have turbos. In the 1995 models, there were at least two engine choices, a turbocharged 4 cylinder and an non-turbo 6 cylinder.

WINK adds: The first SAAB, the 1950 model 92, had a two-cylinder, 750cc, two-stroke engine. The first turbocharged Saab was the 1978 Saab 99 Turbo, which started the turbocharging revolution for smaller engined sedans.

I had a '99 and my cousin has an '03 Galant.I first removed the trim around the radio and the a/c controls which pops right off.Second, I removed the four screws that hold the a/c controls, which gives you enough clearance to be able to push the a/c controls low enough to remove the radio.Next all you have to do is raise the radio a little and pull it out from the front brackets holding it in place.That should be it and I had to use the side metal brackets attached to the factory radio in order to attach the new radio.

There are a couple possibilities:

Start with a fuel line de-icer in case you have a little water in the fuel and it's freezing. Water builds up from condensation, much the same as water builds up around your glass when it's hot in the summer. Gasoline manufacturers do NOT put water in your fuel, no matter what your "expert" friends say.

If that doesn't help, try a tune-up. Plugs & wires can sometimes help by giving a hotter spark. Starting cold is difficult on your engine and you need to make sure it has all the help you can give it.

Last, if nothing else helps, check the compression. If compression is low the engine will be difficult to start and nearly impossible when it's cold.

It will take a few flushings to get all of that solution back out of the to be oil in the cooling system so it probably doesn't have a lot of oil removal capacity.

With engine oil filter change :

The 5.4 V8 and 6.8 V10 GASOLINE engines take ( 5.7 litres / 6.0 U.S. quarts

With filter the 7.3 DIESEL V8 takes ( 14.2 litres / 15.0 quarts )

7.3 liter takes 15 qts with filter change. Dont forget to add oil in filter before installing

You can buy diesel fuel from a filling station.

The filling station gets it from an oil refinery.

The oil refinery gets crude oil from a crude oil drilling company and produces lots of

different products including diesel and gasoline fuels.

The drilling company gets the crude oil from rocks deep down under the surface of the ground or under the sea bed.

The Ford 6.8L 30V SOHC V10 Triton engine produces 362 horsepower @ 4750 rpm and 457 lb.-ft. of torque @ 3250 rpm.

Removal # Disconnect battery ground cable (14301). # Raise vehicle on a hoist. # Disconnect wiring from starter terminals. # Remove attaching bolts and remove starter motor (11001). Installation # Position starter motor and hand-start attaching bolts. # Snug all bolts while holding starter motor squarely against its mounting surface and fully inserted into pilot hole. # Tighten bolts to 20-27 Nm (15-20 lb-ft). # Connect wire at solenoid S-terminal. # Position battery cable on solenoid B-terminal and install attaching nut. Tighten nut to 9-14 Nm (80-124 lb-in). # NOTE: When the battery (10655) has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy. Lower vehicle and connect battery ground cable. Check operation of starter motor.

Any of the Ford dealers can tell you this. Your owners manual also has all fluid levels for the vehicle. Ask where you have your truck serviced. Look at the linked ads below this answer.

The smoke is unburned fuel, if a truck or car smokes to much it means there is too much fuel being put in the firing chamber, this may or may not be desirable.

In cold weather diesel thickens ( referred to as gelling ) . At low temps it will clog filter and injectors not to mention difficult to compress ( a diesels ignition ) .

Warm engines , filters and fuel makes it easier to start in cold conditions .

Same goes for motor oil in extreme cold which is why in far north cities some gas engines also have block heaters . Cold thick oil is very hard to circulate to upper bearings once a vehicle is started . You will note in extreme cold , a engine with a block heater develops oil pressure far faster than those without .

No oil pressure is a bad thing .

The speedometer is fed by two wires (one black one white wire) from VSS 2. This pair works its way through multiple connectors to pins 2 and 3 on a 3-pin connector in the back of the combo meter (i11, all three pins next to each other). The wires maintain their color all the way to the instrument cluster according to the shop manual. The speedometer then feeds a green wire with black stripe that exits the combination meter. This wire finds its way to both the TCU and cruise control according to diagrams. This wire is on pin 10 of connector i10 (light gray, 16-pin, each pin next to the other) at the combination meter. There is a wire that leaves the speedometer circuit for ground, for four connections in total.
