I think. it would be the knobs on each side of the parking brakes(if they are still there in that year) pull them both up (i think) while the motor is on and you should get warm air to come out. You probably CAN'T turn it on, unless:
the heater boxes, which are sheet metal pieces wrapped around the cast-iron exhaust manifolds, are intact
the control levers on the sides of the heater boxes are there, the butterfly valve they control is there, and the cable running to the lever is there, intact and connected at both ends
the hoses connecting the heater channels to the heater boxes are there and intact
the heater channels don't have any holes in them
and even if all that stuff is right, you STILL don't get much heat out of them!

Well I recently found out. I have a 2002 jeep liberty and they will make a grinding noises when you turn the steering wheel. The noise is worse when you turn at slow speeds or while in park. The noise will get worse over time. As the driver you'll know something is seriously starting to go wrong because the sound is loud.

there is a tool yo do it or you can use a very small screwdriver to pull the retaining wire out. be carefull not to bend it so much that it permanitly distorts. then the line just pulls out. all the wire does is hold the line in place there is a bulge in the line that it catches on then an o-ring that makes the seal. one last note if you have to replace the transmission fluid use atf+4 or you will destroy it.

Yes. The fuel pump is electric and if the oil pressure is low there is a protection circuit that will cut electric power to the fuel pump. Almost all newer cars have this feature. So, just add the proper amount of oil. Turn the key on for about three seconds before you try to start it (you may be able to hear the fuel pump run) and if you have oil pressure when you start cranking you should start right up. If not, you are going to need a mechanic to help determine the problem.

I detail headlights at used car dealerships and what I do is drill a TINY hole on the lower edge of the headlight to let the water out. The heat from the light bulb will eventually dry it out. To clean the outside of the lens I use a product called CrystaLenz, this stuff really works great. Check out their website www.CrystaLenz.com for more information. ==Answer == You can also dry the lens out by talking the bulb and socket off the back and inserting a dry clean rag or towel through the opening and clearing the lens from the inside with a long object like a wooden stick. Once a hole is drilled, moisture can re-enter of course if not plugged with something like silicone. I have had the same problem.

The location of the fuel pump in on the drivers side of the motor. When standing in front of the motor looking at it, it will be on your right side up front. If your looking the carb, there is a fuel line near the bottom left side of the front of the carb, that runs toward you, the front of the motor, and then curvs down near the distributor. That fuel line is coming from the fuel pump going to the carb. To replace you will need two line or open ended wrenches, and remove two bolts that hold the pump in place. Very easy to do.
