Ford transit just die and now wont turn over but has pently life in battery?

You don't say what year the transit is. More than likely it will be the starter motor.. However the newer transits have a fused earth lead, under the drivers seat, the fuse usually blows when the starter motor starts to get a bit tight down to the build up of clutch dust on the drive. Run a jump lead from the negative battery terminal to the engine lifting eye and see if it starts. that will tell you if the fused earth has blown.
