Your 7.5A ignition fuse keeps blowing in my 1990 Toyota celica?
You have a short to ground or a bad connection that is causing the circuit to "draw" too many amps, causing the fuse to go out. This will be hard to diagnose. Sometimes the wires in the distributer module area inside the distributer cover will crack with age and allow the spark out to ground. Could be a bad module or igniter module on firewall.
Do you have an aftermarket alarm? did they chop into your ignition circuit to add an engine kill? That is often a cause. check your battery clamps first. If there is a crustiness, that will cause a current problem. Always check your battery before all else. 9 out of 10 it originates there. Good luck. sounds like mechanic time...

check the battery, check the starter, see if their both good. It's the battery, if all it does is click. The clicking is the starter trying to start but not having enough electricity.
Is it difficult to change starter on 2003 ford transit?
No it is not a difficult job. You just undo the nuts on the solenoid contacts and release the wires being careful to note where each one goes back. Then there are three 13 mm bolts attaching the starter motor. Undo these and the starter will pull loose from the mount. Job Done!
The weight will depend on which transit you have, look for a data plate which is usually in one of the steps as you enter the transit, mine is in the passenger side. It will give you the GVW gross vehicle weight plus other info as well, max will be 3,500KG (tonne = 1000KG), ie 3.5 tonne
Should the engine warning lamp be illuminated when the engine is running on a 1995 Opel Astra?
The light is illuminated because the ECU has picked up a fault on the engine management system, and has stored a fault code. You need to diagnose & rectify the fault for the light to be extinguished.
Ignition fuse 80amp on ford transit keeps blowing?
Fuses That "Blow" Repeatedly
Without being able to "hands on" troubleshoot the circuit served by the repeatedly blowing fuse, no one can identify the specific cause/defect which is causing your problem.
Therefore, the following generic answer can be applied to any electrical circuit, whether in a vehicle, or in a building, or whether alternating current [AC] or direct current [DC].
Fuses [and Circuit Breakers] are safety devices designed and installed in electrical circuits TO PROTECT the conductors [wires] and other components from short circuit conditions and/or overload conditions which cause an extremely large flow of electrical current [measured in Amperes], which causes overheating of the conductors that results in damage to the insulation and the conductors. And in a worst case scenario, the probability of a FIRE which could destroy the vehicle, house, or other structure in which the circuit is located.
When a fuse or Circuit Breaker [and replacement fuses, or "tripping" Circuit Breakers] "blow," especially if it happens repeatedly, is an indication of an UNSAFE CONDITION in that circuit, usually a short.
The fuse or circuit breaker is doing what it was designed, intended, and installed to do, protect the conductors and components of the circuit which it serves.
The proper "fix" is for a qualified technician, who knows what he or she is doing, to troubleshoot the involved circuit, find and identify the defect, and make proper repair [s], BEFORE replacing the fuse again [with the properly sized fuse or before resetting a circuit breaker].
Some ignorant few will suggest installing a larger fuse or breaker to solve the problem, BUT that will only increase the hazard, not correct it. Do not follow "bad" advice by installing a larger fuse in a misguided attempt to correct the problem. To install an over-sized fuse would almost guarantee damage to the wiring and an electrical system fire.
LWB HR = 2.7m High
Jumbo HR = 2.7m High
But do give your-self a few cm more to be safe...
So 3m High in both cases.

Where is the side light fuse on a 56 plate transit?
hi there, your fuse you are looking for is located behind the glove box on the passenger side of the van. once you've taken out the glove box, you will see the fuse board. pull the cover off then you will see X2 clips on the fuse board, pull them down and there is ANOTHER fuse board behind the first fuse board. im not sure what fuse it is but i know it's a 7.5 AMP so you will have to check them all. many thanks and good luck. Baz B.
Where is the oil filter on a 2004 ford transit?
Later (Y Reg onwards) transits have "canister type oil filters" . You remove these by getting underneith the vehicle. On the right hand side of the engine (LWB /RWD) or front of the engine (SWB / FWD) you should see a large round plastic cover with a "hex" on it. " to the best of memory this is a 32mm hex head. Undo this cover to the point where oil just starts to come out then leave to drain. Once the filter has drained then you can move the cap completely. This way you avoid making a complete mess!
