The 2003 Ford Transit Van windshield wiper fuse will be the number 14 fuse. The number 14 fuse will be in the second column, fourth from the top.

on the passengers side under the dash, get access via the recessed holder, lift the recessed dash section its tucked to wards the front and there's a torx screw head (not sure size) and under the bonnet their is a corresponding rubber boot about 200 mm wide with 2 x 10 mm nuts. remove all 3 anchor points. Under the boot (pull back) will see a shiny silver lever pull to the left and it will disengage the connector.. pull the ECU from the recess dash section..

NOTE: my transit has NO passenger Air bag,,, if your one has it access may be more difficult and need more care not to interfere with air bag

its quite simple to reset this light (turn on ignition,press foot brake and accelerator at the same time until the light starts flashing then turn off ignition and it should be reset.

you need to take it to ford and let them put it on a computer it could be one of many things Have a professional repair the problem with the SRS. They will reset the light after the repair. the repair

insert the red key into the ignition barrel. watch the immobilizer light go out. remove red key. put in the key that you want to code, straight away. wait a few seconds. remove key. immobilizer light comes on. insert the key that you have just coded. immobilizer light should go out. start engine.

Check the oil level while engine is hot and running and immediately after selecting all positions on the selector (123DNRP) 3 times, pausing for 1 second on each position, ending in P.

Check the oil is red and not brown, using a white tissue/cloth.

Brown indicates the bands and or clutches are burning up, contaminating the red transmission oil.

Weaknesses are juddering in reverse and overdrive/4th gear slipping/non engagement when engine is hot.

Yes but dont jump it from the battery on the transit under the boonet there is a steel eye use that to earth the jump leads then put the red jump lead on the red lead under the bonnet its like a battery lead it will have a red plastic cover on it thats where you jump a transit from do not jump directly from the battery
