Heater blower not working in 1994 geo metro any suggestions?

due to bad design of the actual switch.... the ball and spring arrangement will push the plastic apart when the switch warms up. the only thing you can do is rebuild the switch assbly by removing the cover over the controls and CAREFULLY removing the switch. You'll have to separate it at the dash... there's not much wire to work with but you can take it apart and then clean it up, regrease the ball and multiposition switch, and reassemble it.... I used heavy duct tape to hold the switch together after dong this job 3 times and replacing the switch once. you might be able to get a very small screw to run into the plastic pieces to help hold them together... the spring that holds the ball is the real culprate.

Yes, you can. I have done many engine swaps on Geos and 1989 geo metro engines are compatible all the way up to 1997. Just make sure if your geo is a stick shift, that the new engine you bought is also a stickshift or you'll have to do some serious work. Hope this helped.
