There are many dog allergy treatments available for use on Great Danes. There are shampoos, sprays and pills which can help lessen allergens emanating from your pet.

The weight of a Great Dane at 6 weeks should be between 10-20pounds. 7pounds is approximately the maximum weight of a Great Dane at three weeks old, so for your great dane to weigh this much at 6weeks is probably not very good.

Try feeding your Great Dane treats and titbits and see if that increases his/her weight, and also generally feed him more food at meal times.

I am an animal behaviourist and trainer, specialising in dogs, especially medium sizes and over (i.e large dogs), and have also been training and owning Great Danes for many years now, and from my experience, feeding a raw diet for your Great Dane can be very helpful and better for their health. I also know that, none of my dogs, male or female, have weighed this little at such an age, and that if what I mentioned-more food, perhaps raw diet and titbits-does'nt help then I would take your dog to the vet within a day.

No. Great Danes, like most deep chested dogs, stomach is not attached. It is very important to make sure that after your Dane eats that it rests for 30 minutes to an hour. No play time for an hour and a half minimum after eating. Do so can result in a health problem known as bloat, this is a major problem for Great Danes. In fact it is the #1 killer of this beautiful breed second only to cancer. Bloat happens when the stomach turns on itself. The gasses in the stomach are trapped causing the stomach to fill up and cut off the circulation of blood to vital organs. It can take a toll on the dog within minutes of happening and kill it within an hour.

They do need some place of their own in your house/apartment but if you exercise them properly (at least 2 hrs/day), they should be fine in a 1-bedroom apartment. The main thing for a great dane is to be with people who love them :)
