How much would a loaf of brad cost?

To find the answer, we must first quantify the value of Brad.

So how much is a human life worth? According to research by Stanford economists, a year of human life is worth about $129,000. Wolfram Alpha tells us that the average age of a person named Brad is 35 years, and that the average life expectancy for a human male (worldwide) is about 69 years. Assuming that procuring a loaf of Brad involves cutting down a Brad in his prime, we would be depriving him of 34 years of life - a value of $4,386,000.

Next we must decide if a "loaf" is a unit of volume, or a unit of weight. In the UK, government regulation defines a loaf by weight: 400 grams is a "small" loaf, and 800 grams is a "large" loaf. So let's go with weight, and let's split the difference and assume that we want a medium sized loaf of Brad... that's 600 grams, or about 1.3 pounds.

Since the average weight of a human male is 166 pounds (according to Wolfram Alpha), we can assume that Brad should sell for about $26,421 per pound - which, using our previous loaf weight of 1.3 pounds, sets the price for a loaf of Brad in 2010 at $34,348.

How is sea salt handled and transported from its origin to the grocery store?

The answer to this question depends on the type of salt we're dealing with here. Rock salt, for example, is mined from large deposits in the earth. Sea salt, on the other hand, is obtained through evaporating sea water. When the water portion is boiled away, deposits of salt remain.

After the salt itself is produced, it is packaged in containers with little moisture (the presence of moisture causes the salt to partially dissolve and then stick to itself, causing the entire product to form compact and form one massive (or several large) salt crystal.) and shipped to individual distributors just like any other product. This means (if it was imported) that it was put into a shipping container, sent on either a boat or plane, and, upon its arrival, placed aboard a train and distributed to a series of semi-trucks that take the shipping container to the store in question.

Why is it hard to find diet wild cherry pepsi 16oz and 20oz bottles in the six pack in the grocery stores.?

Might I suggest not drinking pop. Especially Aspartine in diet drinks... very very bad for you.

To answer your question. Pepsi will track sales and feed the market based on what sells. There could be production issues as well if you cant find it anywhere. Maybe the grocery stores have not selected the product to sell, you could ask your local retailer to supply this for you.
