Desert Storm Glock- This was a 1991 series of 1000 Glock 17s which had special engraving on it. A list of names of all the coalition countries is engraved down the top of the slide; "Operation Desert Storm/January 16-February 27, 1991" is engraved on the right side. The left side reads "New World Order/Commemorative". The first 15 Desert Storm Glocks were special presentation models and had the special "bright black" finish. The remaining 950 Desert Storm Commemoratives came in the standard Glock Box, but with desert camoflage labels. This is the lid of the box that the Desert Storm Commemorative comes in. In addition to the camoflage label on the top lid, there are special indications on the standard box labels on the ends which indicate it to be a Desert Storm Commemorative. These are pictures of the left and right sides of the slide. There are special markings on both sides, however they are restricted to the muzzle-end of the slide ahead of the ejection port area. Compare this to the full-length engraving down the top of the slide in a picture below. Also note that the normal markings for caliber and model are still there. The absolutely most interesting feature of the Desert Storm Glock is the top of the slide, shown here. The entire length of the slide has the names of all the countries in the Desert Storm coalition engraved in it, both above AND below the ejection port. The Desert Storm Commemorative is the only Glock that has special markings/engraving on the top of the slide right from the factory.

There is one Missing soldier from Desert Storm - Michael Scott Speicher. At this point we do not know if he is a prisoner, missing or killed in action. The most recent information I have found involved finding the wreckage of his plane, his flight suit left nearby and all of this had already been sifted through before US representatives could find it. Because after the coalition forces had swept in through Kuwait in the South and flanked Saddam from the West, and had managed to surround Saddams army in Iraq, George Bush decided to withdraw the troops from Iraq instead of pushing into Iraq and annihlating Saddams army, which was their original objective. Because he didn't, Saddam ended up still in power, and caused many more deaths. It wasn't until the 2nd gulf war he was captured and executed.

First of all, the US Coalition forces liberated Kuwait, so it is improper (from a terminological standpoint) to call it an attack on Kuwait. The US Coalition forces were target the Iraqi Army.

However, the US Coalition land forces disembarked further south in Saudi Arabia and entered Kuwait sovereign territory overland. The air forces were station on a number of Saudi Airbases and US aircraft carriers. Of course, the naval forces remained in the Persian Gulf and launched missiles remotely.

VA says no to any kidney problems but if you search for kidney ailments in the gulf areas like Iraq, Kuwait, etc they all have it and lung diseases looks like Goodpastures disease to me, government wont recognise it.............my husband lungs are almost non functioning God bless our soldiers and Veterans Thank you

because he was stabbed in the back by the kuwait goverment when they sent complaints the U.N to drop the prices of oil, thus cutting iraqs income. this complaint brought much money to kuwait in a disgusting way, thus thus tactic was used to show people that back stabbing isnt the way to go.
