There are a wide variety of answers to this question. The most common and least dangerous is a muscular strain at the neck or front of the skull, producing a unilateral headache. Another possibility is migraines.
Have you worked out hard recently? Fallen, or been invovled in a car accident? Heavy duty stress? Any of these can cause these symptoms. First let's check the easy, likely stuff, and go from there.
A bit more:
Migraine headaches often occur on the same side of the head each time, especially for those who have them on a fairly frequent basis. For years I had migraines, which were always on the right side. Some people have them on the right side, some on the left.
If you continue to have them, or if you've already been having them for a while, you really need to see a doctor for a diagnosis and treatment.
The headaches usually have an immediate onset. coitus is a rare type of severe headache that occurs at the base of the skull before orgasm during sexual activity, including masturbation. Yes, it's possible that a hat may cause or trigger any of several different headache types. The most common headache type triggered by wearing a hat is called Tension Type Headache. The only way to know is to be seen by a doctor however, as there are other reasons wearing a hat may cause pain which need to be diagnosed and treated.

Yes, one of the possible side effects of Focalin XR is headaches. I've taken it for over four years now and have somewhat concluded (for me atleast) that stress plays a major role in causing a headache-not a normal headache though, a bit stronger, not too fun at all--this is especially so when you have your concentration broken when trying to complete something (ex:trying to complete a project at work and a fellow co-worker begins to bug you in some way)-small things like that have caused major headaches lasting for hours.
Make sure you get proper sleep as well-a lack of sleep causes them from too much stress on the brain. Hope this helped somewhat,

You can get a headache for many, many different reasons, including being too hot, hearing loud noises, being hungry, being thirsty, or being tired.
If you have back problems it can cause you to have a headache if something is out of place. Also if you don't have enough sleep and stay up really late for a few days it can cause you to have a headache. If you get hit in the head with an object it could cause one too.
Headache is listed as one of the side effects of Strattera for adults, but it is much less common in adults than in children. In adults, it is listed as "sinus headache." So, it can cause headaches in adults, but it is not one of the primary side effects.
Yes, humidifier cause headache. Because, humidity completely saturates the air around you with water vapor, making it more difficult for your body to obtain the necessary amount of oxygen for proper brain function. This not only makes you feel sluggish, but also leads to painful migraine headaches. According the report of the "National Headache Foundation" that high humidity levels can often trigger weather migraines, also known as barometric pressure headaches.

Possibly, everybody's body reacts differently men and woman.
It may be that you bought new glasses or you just put them on after seeing a while without glasses and so your eyes and brain have to change because they now see sharp there adjusting and that may feel a bit wierd but it's normal and will go away fast
Other possible causes are: Your goggles are strapped on too tight---check this by wearing a hat that is too tight for a while, to see if you get the same headache. Unfortunately even quite loose goggles can cause this kind of headache Also, a recent study has shown that swim goggles raise intraocular pressure---with the potential to cause eye-pain related headache. This might be the mechanism of the headache above, but you could check with divers type goggles which cover both eyes, as they seem not to raise intraocular pressure.
The official literature (from Eli Lilly, FDA, et al) only lists negative side effects, saying about 1% have decreased libido, plus 2% of men have performance problems. Then there are anecdotes of people who avoided sex due to urinary discomfort. On the other hand, many people attest to increased libido and/or performance on Strattera. However, some of that might be because their illness was under control and they felt better about their lives, rather than any direct pharmacological effect.
Final answer: it's a roll of the dice, could be good or bad for your sex life, or quite possibly have no effect.
There is significant anecdotal evidence of sexual effects from this drug. Alterations in urine flow, alterations in ejaculation, and impotence. This effect seems to occur very quickly for those so effected.
OK, just took a 60mg pill for the first time ever about 2 hrs ago. Felt super horny, so I proceed accordingly... limp erection, weird precum, and straining sensation when I ejaculated. I was more focused than usual though! - by Wiiwacky on 13 April 2009
I just started taking Straterra about a month ago. I didn't notice my sex drive increase until about a week ago when I went up to 80mg. I started having sex more often, had very strong orgasms, and in a couple of cases had two orgasms within 10 minutes, something I have never had happen before. I didn't even think about it being related to the straterra until tonight after it happened again, so I thought I'd research it. There really isn't a lot of evidence for it, but I'm definitely thinking it has an effect.
I am a 24 year old female and am shocked to discover there are other people the same age with the same problem with numbness and tingling of the head. I too get anxious when I have symptoms of any sort and it took me a while to gather the nerve to even look up what might be the cause of the symptoms. I too was in a car accident when I was nineteen and suffered whip lash, but only recently started experiencing these symptoms. I am relieved to hear that what I am experiencing might be less severe then a brain hemorrhage or cancer. I really scared of going to the doctor. Please keep updating your posts about what the doctors say so I can also know what might be wrong with me.
How weird, I am also 24 and a hair stylist. I suffer from migraines, neck & shoulder pain from my job etc. For the first time today the back of my head went numb and very cold feeling, which to me was a bit strange. I have had a pretty medium headache all day today. I went home and went to bed and somewhat later my head started going numb and down my back in the middle around my spine with the cold feeling again. Prehaps my spine is out and pinching on some nerves??I have not been in a car accident before but have slipped and fallen straight onto my back hitting my head on wooden floor receiving whiplash then.
Finding a Neurologist and requesting a mri and a having your brain scanned will be the best thing you could do. Upon you getting that done, ask the doctor if they can look for Chiari 1 Malformation. More information on that you can find on: http://www.asap.org/index.php/disorders/chiari-malformation
You never want to assume or diagnose yourself.

Yes. Anything that causes pain increases the level of stress your body suffers. Stress can effect the body in many ways and a headache is not an uncommon symptom of stress.
They can be, but probably won't be the only symptom.
It is indeed possible that headaches can be a symptom of pregnancy. It is quite normal to have more frequent headaches as your body changes in the first trimester. There are several good research sites with this information on it if you search them out or ask.
They can be, but they probably won't be the only symptom.
I would not consider headaches a sign of pregnancy. Headaches can be a symptom of pregnancy. There are many contributing factors to headaches, even dehydration. A missed period would be a more reliable sign.

The situation may be serious. It would be advisable to see a doctor.
The effects of temporal arteritis may range from fatal, to serious, to mild and self-limiting. Immediate treatment with corticosteroids often produces relief of symptoms and can help with temporary visual impairment. Many patients are able to slowly wean off their medication after a period of about 1-2 years. Temporal arteritis is currently thought to be the result of autoimmune disease and as such, patients may find they suffer recurrent flares of disease activity necessitating continual therapy to control their immune system. The condition may return again if treatment is discontinued. Visual impairment which is not treated immediately is often permanent. Temporal arteritis is often misdiagnosed as Migraine.
For appropriate diagnosis, treatment and prevention of headache disorders, seek the help of a board certified headache specialist.
If it is new, any new lump anywhere on your body should be discussed with your doctor.
If it is painful or soft, it could be anything from a tumor to an ingrown hair. If you have been in a car accident and had glass cuts on your head, it is possible to have pieces of glass work it's way back to the surface of the skin even years later.
If it is hard, does not move then you press on it, and feels like part of the skull, it probably is part of the skull. The human skull is made up of several different bones which are rarely perfectly smooth. Where those bones grew together in your childhood can cause irregularities on the surface of the skull, some of which can be felt through the skin.
AnswerI have had a lump above my ear for a week. At 1st it was not painful and flesh colour, after a few days it became a little painful and reddish. I went to my GP today and found that it is an impetigo, a benign infection of the skin that is not harmful but can't usually clear on its own and can spread to other parts of the body or to others. The GP has prescribed me an antibiotic cream and he reckons the lump will be gone in 3 days. In any case , get lumps checked out as you can't really get a diagnosis unless an expert looks at it
Hope this helped a bit.
ANSWER: Sometimes, it can mean you have swollen lymph nodes. I do. Don't panic, just talk to your physician.
