I have had one child and I am pregnant now with my second, but I didn't know I was pregnant with the second until a few days ago. Around the time my period was due I had a light pink discharge that morning and nothing else, so 1 week later I took the test and I was pregnant.

No this isn't Implantation Bleeding because Implantation Bleeding occurs 7-12 days after having unprotected sex. You wont get a positive on a pregnancy test because there wont be enough HCG in your urine for a positive test.

The faint positive test does mean you are pregnant. I'm guessing you would of conceived three to five weeks ago because you have a positive test.

The dark brown blood you experienced is OLD BLOOD which simply means your body is releasing left over blood from your period. This is normal hun. But if the blood turns red then phone your doctor for advice or go to the emergency room.

You may of started your period early. All you can do is wait and see if this turns into a normal period. Or do a pregnancy test in a few days time.

not everyone gets the implantation bleed, only some people,if you had unprotected sex at the right time, and you "feel" pregnant, then you might well be. Wait until your period is due, and if it doesn't come, or it is lighter than usual, then take a home pregnancy test or go to the doctor.

implantations bleeding if you get it doesn't always mean your pregnant cause i got it on the 2nd may then got periods so .... if everyone who had implantation bleeding then i would be having a period while pregnant won't I

If your on the pill it can mess up your periods so if your on the pill that won't surprise me if your worried go see a doctor or take a pregnancy test.

Hi it should last from a day or 3 Mine was stringy pink blood in discharge which lasted a day.

Its nothing like a period its not heavy its just a spot of blood really which 1 in 3 women get at the beginning of pregnancy.

no implantation bleeding does not cause any problems in pregnancy, it is very common for women to experience this. I would say wait a week and take the test if nothing then take another one in another week and if still nothing just go see your doctor for a blood test which is a lot more accurate than the at home tests. You could be pregnant. I had brown spotting 10 days before my period was suppose to start. 5 days later I took a First Response (5 days before your missed period) and it came back positive.
