Should you give money to beggars?
No. They're like cats. If you feed them, they won't leave. Consider this point of view. The beggar may be an angel in disguise. But beware. I suspect that an angel in beggar's clothing is looking to see your response to the poor, and not to a suspected angel. [Here's a little money-- bring me a yacht!] If you can give to a poor person with the attitude of wanting the beggar's forgiveness for your show of generosity, you may be on the right track. If you're going to begrudge the gift, you aren't doing anyone any good. I'm not denying every person's responsibility for themselves, but somehow, in some way, the system you're a part of failed this person. == Yes. Why not keep the energy of money or whatever your heart desires flowing in and out of your life. The more you give, the more you have! They've been kicked, spat on, called names, and sneered at. Or simply being ignored by so many other humans can cause stress and depression.
Also there is research that says that the longer people are homeless, the more likely they are to start showing signs of psychological problems including schizophrenia. Their brains break down at the physical and chemical level and the mind starts to reflect this. Alcohol and drug abuse sometimes play a large role in this, as do poor nutrition.
What can you do to stop homeless people?
To be honest, no one can stop homeless people. People are getting more and more poor and homeless, living on the streets because our government, your president and my queen won't do anything about it. Though, what you could try, is when you see a beggar on the streets, give them a bit of money and a bit of food. You'll feel happy. To know that you've helped someone.

There are multiple reasons for homelessness. One, could be because that person took drugs, which is pretty sad, or they are an orphan, or their house was burned down, and they don't have any money to buy a new home, and such. There are other reasons too.

Why are there UFOs in the sky?
"UFO"s are real, and have been observed from many locations over many years.

The number of female firefighters in the New York City Fire Dept. is very low. Until 1977, women were not allowed to apply for jobs as firefighters in New York City and it wasn't until1982 that women finally passed the physical exam. Even after legal requirements were established and met, for many years it was made extremely difficult for a qualified women to endure the resentment and discrimination that they met with on the job. Many of the male firefighters and New York City residents did not want women in the department. To quote Capt. Brenda Berkman, one of the first women to get a job in the NYFD, "The idea that men hated me so much that they might leave me in a burning building by myself, that they drained my air tank, that they phoned death threats to my house, that they followed me around on the street and threatened me---that was scary."
Although times have changed in those 28 years since Brenda Berkman fought for her job, the number of women firefighters is still extremely low. 343 firefighters died in the attacks on 911 but the fire department does not record the numbers by gender. So, I invite you to read the list of the 343 and find that number yourself on the link below. The gender of those who died is irrelevant, it makes their sacrifice on that day no more or less valiant.
