Which bulb is brighter silverstar ultra or hella for replacement bulb on 2001 Isuzu Rodeo?
That is a tough question answer with a yes or no. There are many factors that effect the amount of light from a bulb. The easiest way to measure the comparable light is in lumens. In that measure they are basically tied when comparing a H4 bulb (the size you need for your 2001 Isuzu Rodeo). Silverstar says 910 +/- 10% on low beam and 1500 +/- 10% on high beam. Hella says 1000 low beam and 1500 high beam. We have had equal satisfaction from customers on both lines.
PIAA is another brand that is popular. They offer a H4 bulb in their Intense White series. We get more positive feedback on that bulb than any other. There is some question about the street legality of these bulbs.

How do you adjust the valves on a 1995 isuzu Rodeo 3.2
Where can you get parts for a 1998 Rodeo Isuzu 44 v6 engine?
Where is the PCV valve located on an Isuzu rodeo 2004?
It does not have one (the "valve" that is). I belive 1998 and newer do not. My 2001 Isuzu Rodeo does not. It does not because it is too new. However, it does have a PVC system with the breather tube coming from the crankcase to the valve cover. From there fresh air is taken from the air duct and mixed with the crankcase vapors. Then it is sent to the TBI Throttle Body system and burned up.

How do you check vacuum leaks on 98 rodeo 2.2?
Well that can be tough as vacuum leaks are sometimes troublesome for great mechanics to find. My best advise would be to use the process of elimination in order to pinpoint the direct problem. Start by acknowledging the good hoses from the bad. Then once you have all of your bad you want to replace them. Its about $1 a ft. its going to be the hoses associated with the intake so I would begin with those hoses

How do you fill the tansmission fluid in a 99 rodeo - no dipstick?
The Transmission: Keep an eye on your oil level, as it can get low on you real quick, especially on long hi speed highway trips. There are ways to remedy this. If equipped with an AT, your rodeo has a 4L30E GM trans. You should change the ATF. BMac- for the ATF leak thing, check the accumulator piston cover on the pass side of the trans. VERY common on the 4L30E. Leaks? How about the accumulator cover? It's on the right side and it's round. Check this: Accumulator repair: before trying to remove the snap ring you need to push the accumulator cover in then remove the cover don
look under the front of the car and you should see it in the middle behind the grille

Does an Isuzu rodeo 4jx1 engine have an injection pump?
the 4jx1 engine does not have an injector pump.
it is a common rail diesel and therefore relies on a high pressure pump in the tank supplying 4 electronic injectors fitted to a common rail, similar to most modern petrol engines.
To realize the compatibility between low exhaust
emission and high engine output, an HEUI
(Hydraulically actuated Electronically controlled Unit
Injector) system, has been introduced. This system is
comprised of a hydraulic system, fuel system, and
electronic control system, using a high-pressure oil
pump in place of the conventional fuel injection pump.
The oil pressurized by means of this pump and by
signals from the ECM (Electronic Control Module)
actuates the fuel injector provided for each cylinder.
Inside of the fuel injector, fuel pressure is increased due
to the high-pressure oil. The ECM detects the driving
state of the vehicle, forms, signals sent by engine and
other part sensors, which determines the optimum fuel
injection amount and timing, thus controlling the fuel
injectors. Thus high engine output, good fuel economy,
and low exhaust emission are realized.
What does a bad timing belt sound like?
When a timing belt is going bad it can make a high-pitched screeching sound. It can sound like a high-pitch whirring noise. Not all timing belts make a noise when they are worn or going bad.
Does a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo have a transmission control module?
The 3.2 liter V6 most certainly does. It is located under the carpet beneath the passenger side front seat. If you see the "check trans" light and your tranny is in limp mode (L and 3rd gears only), the connectors to the transmission control module may be loose.
Where is the oxygen sensor located on 2001 Isuzu Rodeo?
There are 4 of them on the 3.2L engine, I'm sure it's similar on the 2.2L. They are located on the exhaust pipes under the driver and passenger floor wells. You will need one down and one up on each side, I feel that the Bosch brand was the better sensor, I went through 2 of the cheaper (generic) ones in a few months.
The best way to get to them is to lift the truck and have a really skinny friend reach up there to remove them with a wrench, I'm not a a huge fat guy, but the oriental guy in our shop had to help me with these. LOL, so I will give credit to Wu for the help....
dirt deposits on the lifters. i have heard using mobil 1 synthetic will fix this problem. You may also want to consider a having a engine flush done. I had this problem with the v6 in my 97 Rodeo with 135k miles; solved the problem for me. price was reasonable.

How do you remove the door panel on a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo on a driver's door that won't open?
Very hard to do I have always used a very long Phillips screwdriver and a hammer Roll the window down and put the screwdriver in to the latch....find the lock mechanism and tap the end of the screwdriver with a hammer Usually what happens is the lock lever sticks in lock position and if you move it the door opens...good luck
Along the door trim panel lower sides and bottom there are square plastic plugs which can be pulled out with a small screwdriver, under these trim panel plugs are Phillips screws which hold the trim panel on to the door. Remove these screws , unbolt the speaker in the trim panel, remove the upper door pocket (2 Phillips screws), remove the window crank or control switch assembly, remove the trim cover with tweeter speaker front of door window, pop out the plastic trim panel fasteners which hold the trim panel onto the door in addition to the 4 screws along lower side/bottom. then the trim panel can be pulled away and up from the door.Detailed trim removal instructions in the Haynes manual!
