Janis Joplin

Janis Joplin was a singer-songwriter and music arranger inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Her music success earned her a Grammy Life Time Achievement Award. Joplin struggled with drugs and alcohol most of her career. She finally lost the battle and died October 4, 1970 of a drug overdose. All questions about her life and career can be found here.
