What will happen if the two small wires were reversed on a starter relay?

nothing, the starter will not engage, and the voltage bypass to the coil will not be energized.

What is the towing capacity of a 79 Jeep CJ7 with a Class III Hitch?

Not much. It will depend on your engine, transmission, do you have a lift. The biggest problem is that the CJ is so light that it becomes a control issue. When I used to tow my boat (20' bow-rider) my front wheels would be so light that they would slid in a turn. I could pull it 60 mph but had to slow way way down before I came to a turn or corner and dirt roads were even worse.

How do i wire a speedometer in a 72 CJ5 there are no marking on it for pos or neg please help?

What are you wiring? The speedo is cable operated. If you are wiring up the lights, it doesn't matter, as long as you have a "hot" and a ground the lights will work. If you are wiring up one of the gauges built into the speedo it depends on which gauge you are wiring up.

How do you find out what the abbreviation AIC means pertaining to a jeep cj7?

What wheels will directly bolt onto a 90 Mark VII LSC?

Its kind of a toss up as to what wheels will fit a mark vii although we have 5 stud hubs and axles the problem lies in the front hub and bearing. Most new model fords SN-95 or newer have the hub machined at a 45 degree angle. The problem with most wheels is that the hub sticks to far out without being machined. The second problem is that if you find wheels that fit or machine the hub the center ca[s for the wheels most likely wont fit because of the endcap for the bearing assembly. Machining the rotors are not that difficult i did it in my drive way with a 5 in die grinder. I have 99-04 mustang bullitt wheels on my mark. good luck

What is a 1982 all-original 170000km jeep cj-7 Laredo worth if its been properly maintained has no restorations-except brakes and has the original dash decals and well...- everything?

You should first check the Kelly Blue Book value at www.kbb.com. after that I would go to a local dealer and see what they suggest the trade-in value is and conpare the two. Most dealers use the KBB values anyway so they should be the same but may have some insite on demand.

What is a Pickup coil assembly?

Without this, your distributor won't work. Without your distributor... :( Go to your distributor. On the outside of it you should see a plug with harness (?) feeding into the distributor. This is the beginning of your pickup coil "assembly". Take off your distributor cap. You'll see that "harness"/assembly feeds into the very top of your distributor, held by a "molded" grommet (on mine), then, it "coils" around the top and you'll see that it feeds (or plugs into) into some part of the distributor (again, you can only see this when your distributor cap is off). I'm basing all of this on my 84 CJ7. I have no clue if all distributors are the same. Good luck.

What size and make engines will fit 1974 CJ5?

You can put a wide variety of engines in this, ranging from a 4 cylinder to a v-8. Adapter kits are readily available to install Chevy small-block v-8 engines in Jeeps, but nearly anything can be made to fit if you're willing to fabricate the necessary mounts and transmission adaptors. Detailed information is available on jeep enthusiast web sites.

Will a hardtop from a 1963 cj5 fit on a 1973 cj5?

The hardtop from a 1963 CJ5 will not fit on a 1973 CJ5. Some people have found that if they put a different windshield on it that it will fit, but then you have to adjust the wipers. It is best to get a top that fits the measurements for the model you have specifically, for best results.
