Yoko Ono probably commissioned him to make one. Warhol was acquainted with Lennon and Ono; a photo exists of the three giving each other a "group grope".

Lennon kept name-checking Warhol during an early-1970s press interview ("Wouldn't it be great if Andy were here?") as a joke, leading the writer to conclude Lennon was obsessed with Warhol. He wasn't; the writer missed the joke.

Asked once in a late-Sixties interview if he thought Ringo Starr was the best drummer in the world, Lennon flippantly answered "He's not even the best drummer in the Beatles!"

All the same, Lennon always counted on Starr's drumming to enhance the music they made together, and encouraged later drummers he worked with (including Andy Newmark) to "play it more like Ringo".

Meher Baba was an Indian spiritual teacher who said he was the Avatar. Educated at St. Vincent's High School in Pune, India, as well as Deccan College, he led a normal school life, showing no particular inclination toward spiritual matters. At the age of 19, a short contact with an old Muslim holy woman Hazrat Babajan marked what he said was the beginning of his spiritual awakening. [1] In 1915, at the age of 22, he was hailed as "Parvardigar" (Sufi for 'God as the Almighty Sustainer') by the Indian fakir Sai Baba of Shirdi. [2][3] He received help from three more spiritual masters, including Upasni Maharaj, who he said revealed to him his spiritual identity as "The Ancient One" in 1921. Baba lived and traveled in company with a circle of close disciples whom he termed his "mandali" (Sanskrit for 'circle'), both men and women from whom he demanded absolute obedience. He and his mandali voluntarily assumed a life of extreme simplicity. From 1925 to the end of his life, Baba remained silent, communicating by means of an alphabet board or by gesture. [4] Baba spent long periods in seclusion, often fasting, but he would intersperse these periods with wide-ranging travels, public gatherings, and works of charity, including working with lepers, the poor, and the mad. He gave many discourses, which have been collected by his followers. In 1931 he made the first of many visits to the West. During these travels, a number of western mandali joined him. In the 1940s, along with selected mandali, he traveled incognito about India, in what he called "The New Life." On February 10, 1954, Baba declared that he was the Avatar (an incarnation of God).

I am not sure that it is from a movie. I do know that is a line from John's song Beautiful Boy. "Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans....Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful Boy"

In response to that ... it's one of the lines from "Beautiful Boy," a song that John Lennon wrote for Sean Lennon.

he helped the world in a positive way, because he did protests for the Vietnam war.he had only wanted peace.

It was a form of protest. We are blind to so many injustices in the world especially to the injustices that happen to women. I read this in one of her interviews. It was a performance piece. She also crocheted while doing this.

George Smith. "Uncle George" was a dairy farmer and part-time bookmaker, who read to young John from the newspaper, and treated him like his own son. George died when John was thirteen, and visiting his Aunt Mater in Scotland.

Lennon's parents, Alfred and Julia Stanley Lennon, split up when he was a toddler (though they were never actually divorced), and he was raised by his aunt Mimi (born Mary Stanley) and uncle George Smith. Julia moved in with another man, John "Bobby" Dykins, and they had two daughters together, Julia and Jacquie.

George died when Lennon was fourteen (of a liver hemorrhage), Julia when he was seventeen (killed by a drunk driver, who turned out to be an off-duty policeman, that only had a learner's permit), Dykins in 1966 (after a drunk-driving accident), Alfred in 1976 (stomach cancer), and Mimi in 1991 (after a stroke).

He hated his own voice. He was shot to death in 1980 at age 40 by an idiot. He was cremated even though he said in his last interview that he wanted to be buried. He wasn't allowed to drop his middle name "Winston" when he changed his name. He broke up The Beatles. He hated some of his own songs. He affended alot of people saying The Beatles had more popularity than Jesus Christ. He slapped Cynthia across the face at art school. He didn't have a close relationship with his dad. He didn't see his son Julian for a few years after he got divorced.
