Kng Tut became king in 1323 B.C. and died 1333 B.C.

1. Tutankhamun was the youngest of all the pharohs to rule. He was 9 years of age when he ruled.

2. Tutankhamun was the son of Akhenaten.

3. Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered by Howard Carter.

4. Tutankhmun's mask has 10 kg of gold.

5. King Tut had married his half sister named Ankhesenpaaten renamed anakhsenamun later

6. He and his wife had 2 stillborn girls, whose mummies were found in his tomb.

7. He was 5 feet and six inches tall.

8. His famous gold mask weighs 22 pounds.

9. About 3,500 artifacts were found in his tomb.

10. His tomb was discovered on November 4, 1922.

It is worth $300,000,000 AD(Australian Dollars).

King Tutankhamen is one of the most well known pharaohs of ancient Egypt. This is more because of the tomb that was found almost intact, rather than anything he did during this lifetime. King Tut was extremely young and the empire was already in decline when he took power.

None the ancient Egyptians did not go in for killing their servants for this purpose. Instead they used wooden models which miraculously came to life in the afterlife. I am not sure if any of these models were found.

He was probably around 12 or in his early teens.

...is a mask that king tut wore when he died! it is 11k and is 54cm tall!!(21in) it is made out of gold and the stripes are painted blue. I am learning about it in school now.

It was not sure if king tut had a brother until recently the archaeologists in Egypt found that he may of had a brother named Ramesses. The archaeologists are quite certain this is true and hope to find further evidence

the tomb he had was in good condition . King Tut ruled during the New Kingdom, but ruled for only 9 years. He died at the age of 18. Some people think he was murdered or he fell off of his carriage. His tomb was very hard to find, making it famous to be discovered. Hope that helped =)

it was said that king tut was a mean ruler because in his tomb there were pictures

of him kicking his servants.

He didn't wear a golden mask in life. Pharaohs often have a golden funerary mask which was placed over the mummy's head to protect him in the afterlife. It also represents the Egyptian ideal that the Pharaoh's skin was gold. They had golden finger and toe cuffs that served a similar purpose.

Tutankhamun is the most famous as he was found most recently and he was found in a very different condition to other mummies. His preservation had clearly been rushed and the tomb was not fit for a pharaoh, not destined for him, it is not meant to hold him. It is because his death was so sudden.

A death mask is a mask that gives the dead a face in the after life.

In the 1800's it was common to make a plaster mask of a person that had just died. One of the more famous is the Lincoln Death Mask, which was used to create duplicates that were sold.

It was changed by Aton, who is an Egyptian god.

He was forced to change it by the priesthood, to disassociate himself from his father's worship and views on the sun disk, Aton. He was to revere the god Amen instead.
