That's almost impossible to answer. My 10 year old daughter may be taller than your 10 year old son. They also may have a drastically different stance. Best thing you can do is bring another, more experienced goalie along stick shopping.

I usually spray it with Lysol then let it sit for one day then spray it again the next day and do that for 4 or 5 days depending on how bad it stinks. Or you can wash them in a tub. You can let them soak for an hour or two then take them out. You can also squirt some old spice body wash in there to smell manly.

You can also put baking soda into your bag with all of your equipment in it, leave it in there for 1-2 nights and it will take the smell right out.

It depends on the rules for your specific league but I definatley would not advise it.

-If you are a girl then your stick will be too heavy to feel the ball in your pocket and I'm pretty sure it's illegal and dangerous to other players.

-If you are a guy then I still wouldn't advise it because you would have a major disadvantage compared to the other guys with super deep pockets.

any head will fit on any shaft. It just might take a little elbow grease
