On a Left-hand drive Miata, the ECU is under the dash, just above the brake pedal to the left, look for a silver box with 3 wire harnesses plugged into it.

The first O2 sensor is located just below the header/exhaust manifold, and can be seen just below the header's heat shield. It is most easily accessed by removing the driver's side wheel.

The second O2 sensor is located after the catalytic covertor between the rear wheels at the 12 o'clock position.

Because Miata engines typically run rich, it is not uncommon for the first O2 sensor to die early.

I wouldn't tow it, I would get it on a trailer. The towing information is in the owner's manual.

It's very easy. The only trick is to use a hex key to retract the piston. DO NOT try to just squeeze the piston back!

You can, what you need to do is take the stock air box off.. * DO NOT REMOVE THE BREATHER * take the bottom housing out that holds the air filter. Put the cone over the air sensor which is the black circle thing with the circle that presses back and forth. Tighten up the clamp, start your car, and you have a cold air intake.. I have a 1993 Mx-3 V6 with the air intake i did it on mine and my buddys with the 4 banger. Don't rush take your time.

I have a 1995 and if you lift up the hood, it's in the far left corner near the interior. but, i don't think it includes the interior fuses......

Try this.

On the back of the caliper (side towards the center of the car) locate the hex screw that is behind the piston. Remove the screw. There is an adjustment gear which pulls the piston back. Use an Allen key, turning counter-clockwise to pull the piston back.

on the back of the caliper there is 2 14mm bolts one is just a plug and inside is a 4mm hex key using a small mirror you can see this then turning one way will back it off the other will tighten it to adjust your brakes tighten until the pads become tight and back off 1/3 of a turn should be good be sure to puy on two wheel nuts when doing this to hold the rotor in place

No. it is a non-interference motor. If the timing belt breaks, the engine will not be damaged. It will just stop running until it the belt is replaced.

The quarter panel is welded to the car, it cannot be replaced unless you cut one from the frame of another Miata.

It should be located in the air in take tube after the air filter and before the mass air flow sensor.

Most common problems on Miatas are a bad coil pack, Cam Position Sensor, or the Crank Angle Sensor.

If you've recently changed the timing belt, it is a common mistake to place the timing wheel on backwards, which will also prevent it from firing.

Underneath the intake manifold. If you remove the front right wheel, you'll see it up behind the fender. For owners with thinner arms, you could remove the oil filter from the engine bay, reaching under the intake manifold.

If the car is only a 2 seater you can put a FORWARD facing car seat on the passenger side, but I'm not sure about a rear facing car seat.

There could be a number of things causing this, two that I am familiar with are either the timing may be off or you could need new spark plugs and wires. I have a '94 Miata and mine started to miss not long after having my water pump and timing replaced, so I took it in figuring it was the timing belt, but it turned out to be the latter. It's not an overly expensive fix if that turns out to be the case, so there's no harm in looking in to it.

Just below the passenger side door, along the outside edge of the bottom of your Miata, you'll find a seam where the sheet metal meets and has been welded together. Upon careful examination along the length of that seam, you'll find at least two small spots where the sheets of metal flair apart wide enough for coat hanger wire to slip inside. These holes are meant to drain the water that can collect in the body of your Miata after a hard rain. They can easily become clogged with dirt. To clear them, straighten out a coat hanger and gently slide one end into the hole about three inches to clear the obstruction. If water is currently sloshing around in the body, it should immediately begin to stream out.

You have to strip the rear area behind your seats and continue to you see your fuel tank. There you will find a oval plate with about 10 8mm bolts. Be Very Careful. Highly Flammable.

* Unplug battery neg. terminal * Loosen alternator bolts, lower one (main) and the 2 for the tensioner * Remove the belt * Remove the wires to the alternator * Remove the bolts and take the alternator off * Put the new one, secure with main bolt and tensioner * put belt back and and tension it, tightening bolts

* Connect wires back
