Did anyone visit thomas becket grave?
St Thomas Becket did not have a grave - he had first a temporary stone coffin kept above ground, then a very ornately decorated shrine into which the stone coffin was placed. This was situated in a prominent position at the east end of Canterbury cathedral.
So people came not to visit a grave but to visit the shrine, where holes in the sides allowed them to reach inside to touch the stone coffin.
What are the vows the clergy took during the medieval times?
Many people seem confused about the difference between priests and monks.
All monks and nuns took four vows: poverty, chastity, obedience and stability. Poverty meant that they could never own anything of their own; chastity meant that they could not marry or have any relationship with the opposite sex; obedience meant unquestioning obedience to the Rule of St Benedict and to the Superior of their monastery or nunnery. Stability meant that they would never leave the monastery or nunnery without permission and would always live the cloistered life.
Priests were not bound by oath, but chastity was part of the conditions of becoming a priest, regulated by Canon Law. Many ignored the regulations and got married anyway.
Why did medieval people go to church if they wanted to go to heaven?
Because the Catholic church taught that the only way was to fully participate in all the church's rituals, which could only be performed in the church buildings.
This gave the Pope enormous political power, as if any King or other ruler displeased the Pope he could excommunicate that ruler which would cause all church buildings in that ruler's lands to be closed until the ruler repented. The people inevitably saw this as their ruler sending them to hell because they had no access to the church's rituals. A popular rebellion frequently rose up which either forced the ruler to repent and do what pleased the Pope or the ruler was deposed and replaced with another that would please the Pope.

Why is it so hard for people to realize how truly wonderful God is?
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7,8
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6
To discover and perceive God's goodness is not difficult, yet many times as humans we willingly bring difficulty upon ourselves. Although Proverbs 3:5 says “... lean not unto thine own understanding”, we often rely solely on our own reasonings about life, and neglect bringing God's Word into our thoughts and remembrance.
To remedy a lack of trust in God takes discipline. The moment we recognize that we have been falling short of realizing God's goodness in our lives we can remind ourselves that we need not willingly bring about our own failure, we can decide to be strong.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Ephesians 6:10
We also remind ourselves of more truths about how God works with us, starting with the truth that a man's strength comes from the spirit of God within.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. II Corinthians 4:16
Strength from the spirit God has infused us with is primary, physical strength is only secondary. To receive the things of the spirit of God, we learn from and make decisions according to God's Word and achieve the perfecting of ourselves from within.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [which is] instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. II Timothy 3:16-17
It is the spirit’s work that glorifies God and enables man to do God's work. As we become inspired by the scriptures we see the possibilities of God’s accomplisments in our lives and begin to act on them. At that point we are receiving instruction in righteousness. We are accomplishing God's desires and good pleasure and are walking as children of light.
For it is God which worketh in you [by way of the gift in you] both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Ephesians 5:8
As we walk in the good works God has prepared for us, we bring the knowledge of God's Word to others and most fully realize His goodness in our lives.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
How many meals does a average middle schooler eat a day?
The average middle school child eats a lot ,because he/she is growing and needs the energy. Ideally the child should be encouraged to eat a good breakfast containing some protein (such as yoghurt, bacon, eggs, sausage, cheese...) and complex carbohydrates (such as pronutro, all-bran, muesli, whole wheat bread, whole wheat muffin...) and diary (such as milk, yoghurt, cheese...). Encourage a child to eat breakfast by getting the whole family together early in the morning and making turns to help prepare breakfast.Set a good example by eating breakfast yourself. Lunch should be healthy and contain nutritious foods. Limit sweets to twice/ three times a week and give small portions. If you are too busy to prepare a cooked meal for lunch, pack a lunch box with whole grain bread/ muffins. add a cheese wedge, dried fruit, a whole fresh fruit, frozen yoghurt tube... keep it as healthy as possible. Try to cook at least one cooked meal a day. It could be made quickly if you're super busy- such as Mc Cain vegetables, I&J chicken breasts/fish that you just pop into the oven and eat 15 minutes later. The child should also be allowed 2 to 3 snacks a day. Ideally between breakfast and lunch, lunch and dinner and after dinner. Snacks shouls be ultra healthy like a cup of air-popped salted popcorn, dried fruit, fresh fruit, fruit juice, yoghurt. It is good for the child to have 3 balanced meals, 2-3 snacks and to learn to drink lots of unflavoured clean water when he/she is still young. Children should be teached what an appropriate food portion is - not too big for them to eat up. But a child should never be forced to clean his plate when he is already full.
Where was the charge of treason heard during the middle ages?
Since treason was an offence against the king himself, such a charge could only be brought at the periodic courts held before the king (wherever he happened to be at that time). An example is the charge of treason levelled against Henry of Essex by Robert de Montfort at the king's Easter court in April of 1163, which resulted in a trial by combat between the two knights.
The king was Henry II and as was usual for kings at that time, he travelled around the country with his family, servants and retinue, stopping at large manors or at royal hunting lodges. He rarely heard legal cases himself since these were mainly dealt with on his behalf by sheriffs and barons.

Monks clothing in the middle ages?
If you happened to be a Cistercian monk, then the clothing was just a woollen habit reaching to the ankles, with a hooded cloak or a hooded cape (the cowl), all made of natural, undyed wool. Sleeves were deliberately made very wide and far too long, so they had to be turned back or bunched up the arm. When allowed to fall to full length these sleeves completely hid the hands. No underwear was allowed and the shoes would be the normal leather turnshoes of the time.
Benedictine and Cluniac monks wore the same, but in black wool. They were permitted to have a long linen shirt underneath and if they were sent outside the monastery on some errand they were permitted not only to borrow a good-quality habit and cowl from the cellarer, but also a pair of linen braies (long, baggy underpants) which had to be washed and put back into the stores on their return.
Carthusian monks also wore undyed woollen habits, over very coarse hair shirts intended to make the skin sore (the Carthusians were perhaps the most extreme of all the orders of monks).
No crosses were worn, no sandals and no knotted rope belts - these were all marks of the Friars, who were not the same as monks.
