PageMaker is a layout program. MS Word is a word processor. Word is better at correcting spelling and grammar mistakes. PageMaker is better at putting text where you want it on a printed page.

(Word trys hard at being a layout program, but it isn't and that causes a lot of trouble, especially when Word tries so hard at guessing what you want to do that it re-formats your text to try and squeeze it into what it thinks you might want - which in my case is almost never what I want).

i used to know how but i havent got 2007 anymore so i forgot! but if u use the autoshapes and draw a semi circle, and then draw a text box in front of it that is clear and has no outlines then it will sorta look the same??

They would be similar, having some identical parts and having some parts that are only relevant to the particular applications. If you are familiar with one, you are can use a lot of the other one.

There is currently no character in MS Word that allows users to add a reciprocal symbol. You could possibly copy and paste a picture of the symbol into the document where you want it to appear.
