What are the disadvantages of mp4?
The disadvantages of MP3's are that MP3 player's headphones or earphone contain pieces of magnet. When the music you're playing, release an ultrasonic tone, which bounces to your ear drums, this is very dangerous and could seriously damage your ears. People have also been known to have been run over when running or walking with an MP3 in as you cannot hear traffic coming while crossing the road, this happens because the music can shut you off from the rest of the world.
What MP3 player has the most memory?
What do you mean an mp3? - MP3 is a file format. Do you mean what is the largest size of a MP3 file? Or what is the largest memory size of an MP3 player? Or what is the largest size of memory card that can be used by an MP3 player (presuming it takes cards, many don't)?
An MP3 file can be theoretically any size, although since most MP3 players use the FAT f6 or FAT32 disk format, the maximum file size will be limited to 3.99 GB or 2GB depending on the player.
The maximum disk or memory storage size of a MP3 player depends on the player, the largest I know of was the 160 GB iPod Classic
The maximum flash memory card size that could be used in a commonly available MP3 player would likely be 32 GB. Flash cards of 64 and 128 GB exist, but.require different formatting. If the MP3 player is old and doesn't support SDHC, the the maximum SD card size would be 2 GB. The actual maximum and the type of card supported will depend on the MP 3 player itself, consult the documentation for the particular model.

How do you copy music from CD to mp3 player?
Connect your MP3 player to your ctr. Click on my computer to see what drive your MP3 player is using. In my case it comes up as Removable Disc (E:) Insert the CD you wish to copy into your ctr disc drive. Open Windows Media Player (Start/Programs/Widows Media Player.) Right click on Rip at the centre of the top tool bar. Scroll down to format and check MP3.Then below Format look at bit rate. You can check from 128 Kbps up to 320 Kbps for best quality, but this will use more memory in your MP3 player. I find 128 gives a decent quality. Back in the rip menu scroll down to More Options. An options box opens. On the Rip Music tab look at the 'Rip Music to this Location. If it does not show the location where your MP3 is, is my case Disc E, then click Change. Then browse to Removable Disk E, or whatever port your MP3 is connected to, highlight it and click OK. Click Apply and Ok on the Options tab. Back on the Rip Menu, click top item which should be the title of the Cd you are copying. You can uncheck any tracks you are not fond of and away you go. You will see the progress of each track as it copies (Rips) over to your MP3. Go and make a cup of tea and then its all done. If you wish, you can now re-open My Computer, click on your MP3 drive and see the CD you have just copied residing there, complete with track titles etc.

How many songs will 40 gig hold?
If you are talking about Apple iPods & iTunes, the answer is about 20,000. The "real" answer is - it depends. It depends on the length of the songs, your compression type, compression level, more than you probably want to get into. If you compress them a lot, you could get 30,000, but the sound quality will go down as compression goes up.
8,000,000,000 Bits = 1,000,000,000 Bytes = 1,000,000 Kilobytes = 1,000 Megabytes = 1 Gigabyte = 1/1000 of a Terrabyte
A byte looks like this 00100110 , each 1 or 0 is a bit.
Do any CD players also play MP3 CDs?
No, only CD players which are specifically designed with mp3 in mind can play mp3 disks. There will usually be an mp3 logo on the front of the player to signify this.
Where can one buy used Walkman cassette player?
One would be able to buy a cassette walkman from either a local electronics retailer (usually from their old existing stock as cassette players are no longer widely manufactured) or from an online retailer such as Amazon.
How much data can you put in 1 GB?
1 gigabyte equals 1000 megabytes, 1 megabyte equals 1000 kilobytes, and 1 kilobyte equals 1000 bytes.
To give you some idea of the storage potential, a byte is used to store a character of text. If a line is 50 characters then a 1000 bytes is 20 lines of text, if a page is 50 lines, then 2500 bytes is a page and so a megabyte is 400 pages of text or a long book. So you can store a library of 1000 long books without pictures on a GB storage unit.
Pictures require far more storage space. The amount needed depends on the size and resolution. You can put 1000 one MB picture on a 1 GB unit. Movies are frames of pictures and require vastly more storage and audio adds to the storage requirements.
Why won't mp3 rocket download songs anymore?
Sometimes MP3 Rocket Freaks Out. Try Clearing The Inactive Downloads So the Bottom Bar Goes Away. Mine Stopped Like That Too And It Worked When it Was The Only Thing Downloading. Even if Other Downloads Are Complete, If The Bar There The System Won't Download Anything.
Can you get a new iPod if your iPods screen is broken under warranty?
My first suggestion would be to contact Apple Care. They will let you know first off if you are in your 90 days of phone support, if you are they will let you know if you are still in warranty. But a broken screen is considered a cosmetic damage, which is not supported by warranty. You can possibly "repair" it but it is normally cheaper to just buy a new one. If you didn't purchase the Apple Protection Plan, you will be charged extra for repair as well for shipping costs. You can request an appointment at an Apple Retail Store at Apple.com/retail or the Apple Care Support can make an appointment for you at a location close to you and even refer some of your information to them ahead of time.

Can you use safari on an iPod video?

How many songs can the 16Gb iPod Nano hold?
At about 250 songs per gigabyte (GB), a 4GB Nano would hold 1,000 songs, an 8GB Nano would hold 2,000 songs, and a 16GB Nano would hold 4,000 songs. This is not exact, because the number of songs stored depends on the song length, the compression used, and even the music itself. The above standard estimate of song capacity is based on 4 minutes per song and 128kbps AAC encoding; actual capacity varies by content. If some of the Nano's storage space is used to store other files, such as photo or video, then of course the space remaining for songs is reduced.

How can you copy songs from audio cassette to computer?
The simplest and cheapest way would be to use a casette player with headphone out or line out, a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable and your PC. I'd recommend a gold plated jack cable.
You could then plug one end into the casette player and the other into the Line In or Microphone In on your computer, and use a free program like Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to record it. You can then save it in various formats, and burn it to CD if you desire.
Be aware that the volume you use is very important. If you're not careful you could get "clipping". In most recording programs (including Audacity), you will notice two bars showing the volume level. You want to ensure the sounds from the player do not go into the red at their loudest point.
Remember that the quality recording you get will only be as good as the casette itself.
I hope this helps .
