The NCAA rankings come out every Monday for Basketball. 1:00 pm eastern time on Sundays for football

All basketball players in the NBA are over 6 feet tall. Many of them are closer to being over 6-1/2 feet tall.

Through 2013, Purdue has yet to win the NCAA men's basketball tournament. It made it to the Final Four in 1969 and 1980, advancing to the Championship Game in 1969 but losing the title to UCLA.

TO is a term for Turnovers. A turnover is when the player gives the other team the ball by accident (i.e. dribbling off their foot, passing it to the opposite team,etc.). The lower the TO's, the better the player that game.

It depends on which basketball organization your talking about because they have different time. In the NBA there are four quarters which are 12:00 (twelve minutes) long following a halftime break after the second quarter. In FIBA basketball it consist of four quarters that has a time limit of 10:00 (ten minutes) following a halftime break after the second quarter. In the NCAA (college basketball), there are no quarters instead they are two twenty minute halves.

The higher seed is considered the home team

NCAA is typically bigger schools like Florida, Texas, UCLA, Tennessee. NAIA is smaller schools, many private schools, but still highly competitive. These include Lee University (NAIA College World Series 2 years in a row) and AUM (Auburn University of Montgomery). These schools are highly competitive, and many of them could compete in the NCAA.

In men's NCAA Division I basketball, the winners over the past five years, starting with 2014 and going backwards are: Connecticut, Louisville, Kentucky, Connecticut, and Duke. The next five, starting in 2009 and going backwards are: North Carolina, Kansas, Florida, Florida, and North Carolina.

At last tally, the "Praying Colonels" victory over a Crimson team that was undefeated in five years pulled in 28.3 percent of votes, second only to Kansas State's 2003 upset of Oklahoma.
