The NERF gun is named after the foam used - NERF stands for Non Expanding Recreational Foam.

It's no argument that the Stampede is much more mobile than the heavy Vulcan, and the shield may be slightly useful, but keep in mind that the Vulcan provides about an additional 2 seconds or so in firepower at a time, and it is an excellent defensive weapon.

Basically, Vulcan if you're going for defense, Stampede if you're going for offense. In my opnion, both are excellent weapons and provide great support on the battlefield. It's all about your position.

There are four basic types of Nerf darts:

Clip System

Whistler

Suction

Tagger

Clip system darts (once called 'streamlined') are made to fit into any ammo clip for nerf blasters (longshot, longstrike, recon, alphatrooper, rayven). They are loaded into a clip or drum, which is inserted into the gun.

A gun that uses a revolver-style or open drum will most likely use Whistler or Tagger darts (tagger darts have velcro for use with Nerf's Dart Tag vests). These include: Barricade, Maverick, Specter, or any of the dart tag line. Tagger/Whistler/Suction are generally interchangeable.

Nerf was invented in 1969 by Milton Bradley.

This is not a very good question as most Nerf guns can be extreamly strong when some simple mods have been done. these can be found on youtube, and most are free. take my Nerf mavrick, unmodded it could fire about 40 feet flat (90degree angle). but with a simple air restrictor mod it is now scraping 100 feet. if you are willing to invest you could modify a car compressor, connected to an air tank, which would make the mavrick semi-automatic, and would give many other guns a friendly punch in performence.

you actually use whistle darts in a stampede im not sure what the guns are u can use them on i think one is the nitefinder that's all

In Nerf, the term REV is a short form for revolver.

if you are talking about the hole in the bottom of some of the handles those are to hold an extra dart

Depends on your preference. Many people choose different types depending on what they're most comfortable with.

For the N-Vortex series, many deem the Praxis to be the best of the series.

For the N-Strike series, it ranges anywhere from the Stampede to the Longshot.

The first Nerf blaster made was called the Blast-A-Ball, released in 1989. It fired Ballistic Balls, featured nowadays in the Buzzsaw and the Reactor. The first dart-firing Nerf gun wasn't released until 1992. It was called the Sharpshooter.

It actually stands for Electric Clip System. This is a designation for electronic, clip fed blasters that require batteries to shoot.

In 1997, in conjunction with Larami Toys, the "nerf blaster" called the SupermaXX was released. Hasbro created a line of foam projectile launchers using the Nerf material introduced with the Nerf Ball in 1970.

Hasbro is the "nerf company." you can look at their website, www.hasbro.com. I think, off of the top of my mind, they are located somewhere in rhode island. Oh yes; here it is: Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA.

This is only my advice, but you should buy the Nerf Firefly because the Nerf Magstrike has one clip, and goes really easily, and also needs pump action, but the Firefly has a round barrel at the front of the gun which you manually load and does not run out so quickly. Also, the Firefly comes with the awesome glow in the dark darts!

Both guns are of supreme quality and performance. The Alpha Trooper has slam-firing and 18-round drum clip. Out of the box, it gets 30+ ft. ranges. Good for assault. The Longshot is a bolt-action clip system blaster that can fit an extra clip (it comes with an extra one) in the stock. You can take off the attachment, which is a failure of a gun (gets 10-15 ft. ranges out of the box). Out of the box, the Longshot gets 35+ ft. ranges. I suggest Alpha Trooper if you want to go all-out, and Longshot if you want to snipe of enemies 1 by 1. As for modding, the Longshot has crazy modding capabilities. With a few simple mods and removals, the Longshot can break 50 ft. Hope this will help.

In order to remove the shell from a Nerf Gun, you must remove all the externally visible screws using a phillip's screw driver. Some nerf guns have quite a few screws, so be patient and make sure you have removed all the screws and put them somewhere they will not roll away or be lost. Once the screws are removed, carefully check inside to find out if removing the shell will disturb any of the inter-workings of the gun. Once you are sure you can remove it, slowly lift it up off the other section of the gun. If you plan on removing anything from inside the gun, be sure you know exactly where you removed it from and exactly how to put it back.
