Notorious Murderers and Serial Killers

In the history of serial murder, there have been some very bizzare individuals. Charles F. Albright, born in Amarillo, TX in 1933, murdered three prostitutes in the Dallas, TX, area. All three women had their eyes surgically removed after death.

The Cleveland Torso killer dismembered at least twelve victims, some body parts were never been found.

The Green River Killer Gary Ridgeway inserted triangular-shaped rocks into the vaginas of several of his victims.

One serial killer removed several teeth in his victims. Some pose the bodies so as to cause shock or alarm at discovery. The Boston Strangler tied bows around his victim's neck. The Lipstick Killer left messages at the crime scenes written in the victim's lipstick.

Ted Bundy used a variety of ruses to entice or encourage his victims to their deaths with fake police badges or phony casts or splints and crutches. Once the victim was close enough to his infamous Volkswagon Bug, he would knock them unconscious and/or handcuff their hands. As far as anyone can guess, only one young woman was able to break away, saving her own life.

Several of his victims were wearing only bikinis when their bodies were found.

In an article I read dated February 25, 2013, the answer is no. But there is a good sign - in November 2012 federal agents met with family members of many of these young men & are investigating. A couple of different not for profit investigative groups have been looking into these cases also.

To all appearances it seems that yes, his motivation was greed. But according to several books by different authors, he seemed to like the power that he had over his victims and liked playing God instead of Dr. Shipman.

It is highly ILLEGAL to kill everybody in the world. Cops would probably kill you before you go on a mass genocide.

As the name implies, Boston and/or the Boston area. The has been much talk as to whom the real Boston Strangler was, since DNA evidence has cleared Albert DeSolvo of the last murder, that of Mary Sullivan. Even FBI agents felt the crimes were not committed by a single killer, most likely two killers working simultaniously in the same geographical area at approximately the same time. (not unheard of)

But, there are facts that cannot be ignored. Although DeSolvo was vague about some of the crimes, others he knew far too much. In all homicide investigations, police hold back certain facts as a way to weed out false confessors. DeSolvo knew unpublished facts that only the killer and the police would know. There is also the fact that the killings stopped with DeSolvo's arrest.

It is also possible that DeSolvo killed his first victim in the Boston suburb of Belmont. In Sebastian Junger's bestseller A Murder In Belmont, Junger puts forth the theory that the murder of Bessie Goldberg, circa 1962, was also the work of DeSalvo. DeSalvo was a carpenter's helper in that year, helping to add an art studio for Junger's artistic mother. Only a mile and a quarter from the Junger's home, Goldberg was raped and murdered, found in the early evening by her husband. Although another man, Roy Smith, was convicted of the crime, I'm not a big believer in coincidences, and more investigation is needed to sort out the truth.

Michael Nance is still on death row, exhausting his appeals. He went back to court in 2002 where he received TWO death sentences in Gwinnett County, GA. He resides at GDCP in Jackson, GA.

The Boozing Barber, Canadian Serial Killer, Gilbert Paul Jordan.

This is a very intriguing possiblity. In Rochester, NY in the early 1970s three young girls were murdered. Oddly enough, the victims were as follows: Carmen Colon from Churchville, Wanda Walkowicz from Webster, Michelle Maenza from Macedon. The killer was never found and after Maenza's murder the killing stopped. This story gets stranger. A young man named Kenneth Bianchi, an ice cream vendor, lived in Rochester at the time of the Alphabet murders. The police were interested in two local men but both were cleared by DNA. I'm not a big believer in coincidences. The Alphabet killer of Rochester, NY disappears and Los Angeles women begin to turn up dead, their bodies dumped in the hills just outside the City of Angels. Bianchi had family in LA and for a time lived with an older cousin, Angelo Bono. When things heat up in LA for the Hillside Strangler(s) Bianchi turns up in Bellingham, WA, a Seattle suburb. Within weeks two young women are found dead while housesitting to earn extra money. Bianchi worked for a home security company and had arranged for the women to housesit for the weekend.

Bellingham was the end of the line for Bianchi (and cousin Bono). Bianchi made a deal to rat out his cousin in exchange for prosecutors not persuing the death penalty. Bianchi is serving his 'life with no parole' sentence at Walla Walla Prison in Washington state. Bono died in a California prison. And the Alphabet killer has never been identified. Bianchi has denied any involvement in the Rochester murders but a vehicle matching Bianchi's was seen at two of the crime scenes. And one of the young girls told a family member she was on her way to buy ice cream from the ice cream truck.

I could find none born on that date but Dorothea Puenta of Sacramento, CA, was born on January 9, 1929. She died on March 3, 2011.

There were several female serial killers listed that had no specific date of birth so it is possible that one of them was born on Jan. 30.

Gary Leon Ridgeway, aka The Green River Killer, had one son who is now an adult. I have heard that after his father's arrest and the world-wipe publicity backlash, that the killer's son changed his name and moved elsewhere. Can't say I blame him.

He was on his gataway driving at 100 mph and the sherif in pursuit fired his gun and Charles stolen car had glass flying so he stoped because he thought he was caught. Both of them were aprehended that moment there.

Charles Whitman killed his mother and wife before going on his killing spree and It is known that Henry Lee Lucas killed his own mother in 1960.

Serial killer Ed Kemper also murdered his mother (as well as his grandparents)

She was found guilty of the murder charges and under Arizona law, while Arias' murder conviction stands, prosecutors have the option of pursuing a second penalty phase with a new jury in an effort to get a death sentence. If the second jury fails to reach a verdict, the death penalty would be removed as an option, and the judge would sentence Arias to ether spend her entire life behind bars or be eligible for release after 25 years. She is serving time in Estrella Jail, Arizona.

Organized And Disorganized

Absolutely not. An alcoholic craves alcohol. A serial killer craves power. Some serial killers abuse alcohol and/or drugs but most do not.

The answer would be meaningless if the context attempts to tie any relgious group with the murdering of individuals. No religion advocates murder.

You can't "cure" a serial killer. They may stop killing but they are not "cured". There are very specific (and few) reasons a serial killer will not continue to kill. If the crimes stop the list of possiblities are very short. The killer may have relocated for several reasons, fear of capture, or he may have relocated due to employment changes, have serious health problems, may have died, been incarcerated for different crimes. Or they may have begun to age, tapering off as the urge to kill weakens. These are the only reasons for a serial killer to stop killing.

Most people associate Ramirez with devil worship and a pentagram on the palm of his hand. He is a self-professed Satan worshiper, completely unremorsful for the murders he committed on innocent people. Tall and thin with prominent cheekbones, when in front of cameras, he has a smirk on his face and shows his pentagram to the world.
