From the back side of the caliper, remove the two allen-head bolts that hold the caliper on. 3. Compress the piston enough to give slack enough to lift the caliper off the disk. 4. Remove the old pads from the caliper 5. Use a large C clamp to compress the caliper piston fully 6. Insert the new pads in the caliper 7. Place the caliper back in position on the disk 8. Fasten the caliper down with the two allen-head bolts 9. Reinstall the wheel 10. Repeat on the other side. 11. Pump the brakes a few times at the beginning of your test drive

I don't believe that GM used inertia switchs on their cars. That's Ford. GM uses a simpler, and better system. If there is no oil pressure, the fuel system wont turn on.

I was told by R-Axles in Gainsville, Florida, that replacement half shafts are being plagued with problems, because of poor foreign replacements. They look great in the box, but fail, possibly like yours. I have to say, not only did R-Axles send me back an OE shaft, but inside the box was rubber gloves, papertowels and a pocket knife as a gift for the order. And extremely nice on the phone.
