On top at the front or rear of the throttle body after the black hose connects from the air filter box. I would go to a parts store to see what one for your car looks like and go from there. It's prob called a sensor. Or an idle control valve, Air sensor, throttle position sensor, o2 sensor on the motor and the outlet pipe next to your cat. converter.

Get some throttle body creaner take the hose from the air cleaner off get someone to hold the gas to the floor, (WITH OUT IT RUNNING) spray the heck out of it, It's ok if it runs all over the motor, befor buying anything. Good Luck!

It is possible, however like you said it is temporary. It depends on how bad the leak is. I would suspect it would work, typically the whole will be small enough to work with that type of sealant.

Lots of things. Bad plugs/wires, clogged air filter, clogged fuel filter, clogged fuel injectors, faulty fuel pressure regulator...

Replace the plugs & wires, change the air and fuel filter, and run a bottle of GM Top Engine cleaner through it.

Yes, if there are two cooling fans one operates off of engine coolant temp. and the other operates off the A/C. The one that operates off of coolant temp will run for a while then shut off, then run again and continue to cycle. This is to keep engine at operating temperature. The other one runs when the A/C is on because when the compressor engages it puts a load on the engine, which will create heat beacuase the engine works harder. as long as both fans operate your okay.

Sometimes the flasher relay on a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera is located in the fuse box. Other times it may be located under the dash near the steering column.

the fan blower relay is located in the front left hand side looking at the car. right behind the headlight. there are 4 relays there. it is the one on the far right. I just replaced it.

The starter is located at the bottom front of the engine. Look down in between the radiator and the engine. if all else fails, crawl under and look up, but wear safety goggles and use a good light.

Its a fairly simple fix. On top of the tranny, on the back side, is the speed sensor. Replace this, and everything should be working again. The part can be had at any of your local parts stores.

You loosen the bolt with an electric impact wrench or a half inch drive 28 m socket with two long extensions getting you out past the wheel well then putting on a breaker bar, cheater bar, and putting a fast hard body lunge pressure counter clockwise. You will hear the bolt creak a couple of times and it will be loose.

Edgar: It sounds to me like you have a window and lock problem? The solution is very simple.

1. Remove negative battery cable and set aside.

2. Remove panel next to drivers brake pedal on the left wall.

3. The silver/metallic circles are relays, they say relay on them. That's rarely your problem but important to know about.

4. Find a black little block with a hole insert on top. It's called a circuit breaker.

5. There is a small hole on top of this breaker.

6. Poke it in. Then put it back in.

7. Connect your battery.

8. Check your windows and locks. They should be functional now.

If the antenna is in the up position, you have 2 options, replace the entire assembly, or unplug it. In the trunk under the antenna, you will find a set of 3 wires going into a relay. Unplug those, and the motor will turn off.

I also have an 86 cutlass ceria,the motor will die when I take off from a standstill,let it sit for afew minutes and its ok,any body have any idea`s why?

R-12 and R 12 only do not try to convert unless you plan on replacing the accumlator and the compressor.

Unbolt the water pump pulley, then remove the pulley. 5. Unbolt the water pump, then remove the pump and gasket. 6. Clean the gasket areas thoroughly.
