Where is the fuel pump on a 2000 olds intrigue?

It's in the gas tank. If you need to change it, Google it or get a pro to do it. Fumes are dangerous. You can access it from the trunk under the carpet, near the back seat.

Good luck

What would cause the radiator fans to stop working on a 1999 intrigue - if is possible that a sensor broke if hit pothole?

Many things could cause that: blown fuse, bad relay, corroded wiring (if you live near sea water or in the North), bad temp sensor (have to have a scantool to check it), or the following.. First are you sure they should be going? They go based on the temperature sensor reading. Are you overheating? If you are not overheating don't worry about it. If you are overheating check your coolant level first. You could have air in the system that would cause it to over heat. If you have air and you haven't taken the system apart in the last month, find the coolant leak.

Why does 2000 intrigue overheat but cools down when rpms go up?

Couple of things. First, make sure cooling system is topped off and properly bled. Then, make sure the belt tension is good, that you don't have a worn or slipping belt. There is an updated thermostat that prevents overheating in cold temperatures. Finally, make sure you electrical system is working right - you might be getting a false reading on low idle voltage.

Where is thermostat olds 3800 series 2 engine?

the thermostat is located in the housing where the top radiator hose enters the engine. Note: there is also a brass screw on the top of the housing, this is to bleed the air from the cooling system when you replace the thermostat (or do other cooling system repairs)

What would cause a car to shake and vibrate and the steering wheel and seats to vibrate horribly while accelerating when there is no shaking at idle?

Is there a clunking sound that increases as wheel speed increases? Sounds like a rock in the hubcap? Perhaps you have a bad CV joint. Check wheel alignment? Tire balance? Something that rotates only when the car moves is causing the vibration, and on Intrigues (all front-wheel drives for that matter), there's not many things that go 'round. The vibration worse on acceleration than braking points to alignment or CV joint to me. If it is worse on braking, suspect warped brake rotors. The steering wheel will shake in either case.

Tire out of balance.

Low pressure.

There are a number of things but the most common is a tire out of balance.

Could have a broken belt or cord in the tire.

Try that first.

Also, bad spark plugs have been known to cause this exact problem.

Also you could check the balance of the front hub, if it is out of balance then it might cause that exactly problem. and remember, if the inner cv joints are worn then it could cause a super hard vibration...

Where is the Crankshaft Poition Sensor B on a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue?

From what I have learned Sensor B is just a code that is being transmitted to the computer. There are several different codes that the crankshaft sensor will send depending on what is going wrong with the car. There should only be one crankshaft sensor on the vehicle.

To reach the sensor, you need to jack the car up. With a 15mm or 17mm (forget which), you need to remove 2 starter bolts and move the starter out of the way. Behind and above the starter you will find the sensor. A 10mm bolt holds it. Fairly easy to do, took about an hour in the dark at 0F. Brrrrr

How do you remove the door panel on a 2001 Intrigue?

Three screws have to come out. 1 behind the handle that you pull to shut the door from the inside, 1 behind the access panel (pop off from bottom) by the lever you use to open the door from the inside, and 1 behind the power window switch panel (pop off). After all screws are removed, simply grab the perimeter of the door panel and pop it all the way around.

An instructional video has also been added below, showing the steps that need to be taken to remove the drivers side front door panel.

Hope this helps,

Where is the vehicle speed sensor on 1999 Oldsmobile intrigue?

there are four of them and they are located on the inside of each wheel on the underbody of the car. they are black and are made of plastic.

The Vehicle speed sensor is actually somewhere on the trans. The wheel speed sensors are located inside the wheels not on the under body of the vehicle.

Bleeding the coolant system intrigue?

Where the hose comes from your radiator all the way to your thermostat, you'll see a screm on the top of your thermostat. Fill your radiator, put radiator cap back on. Turn on engine and let it run for about 5 minutes. Then open screw to let accumulated air out of the thermo chamber. Air in there will cause the thermo to not function properly causing overheating. Do this until all air is out and nothing but water shoots out. That's it.

Where is the oil filter located on a 2004 Toyota Camry?

on the Camry with the 2.4L inline 4, the oil filter is located just behind the plastic shield which extends below the front of the car... it will be on the passenger side, and is best removed with the variety of oil filter wrench which attaches to a ratchet (custom fit super graphite from shcuck's is the best I've found). I DO NOT recommend you use a strap type, or serrated jaw type wrench on this car, or you WILL have to remove the plastic shield, and waste a lot of time in the process.

On a Camry equipped with the 3.0L V6, the oil filter is on the driver's side of the engine - mounted sideways. you SHOULD be able to get it through the driver's side wheel well. You WILL spill oil getting this one off - it's almost impossible not to, so be prepared for this. I'd personaly recommend the type of wrench that attaches to a ratchet for this filter, but a strap or serated jaw type might work as well.

Answer4 cylinder? look under the car, by the passenger's front tire, there should be a filter pointed downwards. a 6 cylinder has the filter in the middle of the engine, by the fan, under the exhaust manifold. be careful, i got plenty of scars to show how many filters I've replaced. AnswerThe response above saved me a ton of time! I have a 2005 Camry LE V6 and the oil filter is in the same location as described above.

Another tip: before changing the filter, remove the large black plastic panel on the bottom of the car directly underneath the filter (there are two panels under the front of the car...remove the passenger side one). This will give you easier access to the filter from underneath the car and will ensure that the oil drip has a clear shot at your drain pan when you remove the filter.

The above response was not correct in any way for my Toyota Camry 4 cylinder Aug04. I found the oil filter vertically mounted on the driver side easily accessible from under the car. It is mounted on the engine about 150mm forward of the engine oil pan drain plug. The oil pan shape is angled at the front, allowing the oil filter to mount directly to the engine, not the oil pan. I cannot understand what model the above answers are referring to. For clarification, on this vehicle, the transmission is on the passenger side, and thus the engine oil drain and filter are on the opposite side, the drivers side.

Driver's side or passenger's side? Probably depends on what country you purchased your car in. Mine was on the passengers side (thanks for the info, posters). But I should also point out that when I sit in the driver's seat, I am on the left side of the car. The filter is on the right hand side, on the lower front of the engine, close to the alternator belt. I am referring to the 4-cylinder.

Where is the oil filter on a 2002 intrigue and do you need a special wrench to get it off?
