I'd say the Crips probably started in San Diego around the early 1970's. When the Crips gang first started in the 1960's. most of them where in Compton.

Some Pirus say that ''Piru'' is Crip spelled backwards, with the ''c'' on it's back. It's a form of disrespect.

The Pirus are NOT Bloods, they are two completely different gangs, that are both under the Blood Alliance. They are both rivals to the Crips, which are a gang under the Crip Alliance.

Real Bloods & Crips started in California not New York, although real Bloods and Crips have spread throught the states(accept for iLLiNOiS cause if they were they would sooner or later have to join up with Folk or People Nation & they wanna remain independent). Even though Bloods and Crips started in California u don't have to be just from Cali to be a real Blood or Crip but u do have to have a Cali connect cause that's their Motherland.

The Tiny Rascals Gang is a street gang started by Asian-Americans in Los Angeles, Cali in the 1980's. They wear the colors gray & black & are rivals with the Crips set called the Asian Boyz Crips.

Wiz Khalifa has been affiliated with the East Side Long Beach Rollin 20's Crips before he even started rapping, due to the fact that mant people he hung with in his neighborhood were affiliated with that Crip set.

The song ''black & yellow'' pays homage to not only his city Pittsburgh, but to the East Side Long Beach Rollin 20's Crips, because that set wears the colors blue BLACK & YELLOW.

The Latin Queens wear the same colors as the Latin Kings, which is black & gold.
