Think im pregnant but feel like im going to start my period help me?
If you are 8 days late it is worth doing a home pregnancy test to be sure. However please keep in mind that many things can delay your period other than just pregnancy like an infection or stress. If you test and it is negative I would suggest you wait a week and if you still haven't started then repeat the test. Also be alert at how early the test can register( some are as low as 50 mui and others dont register til you are at 200mui si test sensitivity is a big issue when testing so early. I hope this helps some

Not necessarily no but its possible. It may also indicate you're experiencing irregular periods.
Answer

From Pink Princess
My pregnancy tests did not show positive until 3 days after my period was due. I also had slight cramping like the start of a period for the next two weeks. At 6 weeks my cramps suddenly disappeared and the morning sickness started! As long as you are not bleeding I would say hang in there a little longer.

A period during pregnancy is not hereditary however it is never a normal period. It's simply a light period or vaginal bleeding. Pregnancy symptoms are not hereditary. Every woman will experience different pregnancy symptoms and the same woman may have different symptoms in different pregnancies. There are things that go on during pregnancy which can be symptomatic and hereditary, but these are separate from the symptoms which indicate pregnancy.

You are very likely pregnant. These tests will only show a positive if they detect the "pregnancy hormone". It doesn't matter how light or dark the lines are. Though, if you are still unsure you can take another test the very first thing in the morning when the hormone is stronger.
Smoking weed during the first weeks of pregnancy?
There is no effect on pregnancy. A study done in Jamaica of pregnant women showed no significant effects on the babies. It should be noted that the average use in Jamaica has been estimated as 28 times the average use in the US.
Prenatal Marijuana Exposure and Neonatal Outcomes in Jamaica:
An Ethnographic Study
http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/hemp/medical/can-babies.htm It should also be noted that marijuana has been smoked by tens of millions of people in the US over the last several decades, including what must be millions of pregnant women. There is no evidence of any harm to mothers or babies as a result.
This is usually caused by irregular periods which are quite common. Its also advisable that you rule out pregnancy by performing a pregnancy test. See your Doctor for a evaluation.

How do you know the difference between spotting and a light period?
I have the exact same question, so I am searching for an answer, although, nothing is precise or exact. I guess the only thing is patience.
ovulation starts the cycle to menstruate----- two weeks late take a urine test good luck joymaker rn
Yes, it is possible to skip ovulating one month and Yes you could be pregnant if your period is late. The menstrual cycle is regulated by the pituitary gland - not by the egg that is released from the ovaries. If that were the case a woman would have 450,000 periods in her life time.
Although some women do get a short period after a non-ovulatory cycle, there are some women who do not. Not all women have the same number of eggs, they are born with the eggs they will release. Women only have a certain number of periods before they stop releasing eggs, and no longer have a menstrual cycle. That's what menopause is.....
Yes, but wait two weeks and take a pregnancy test anyway. Here's some signs...
Tender, swollen breasts One of the early signs of pregnancy is sensitive, sore breasts caused by increasing levels of hormones. The soreness may feel like an exaggerated version of how your breasts feel before your period. Your discomfort should diminish significantly after the first trimester, as your body adjusts to the hormonal changes.
Fatigue Feeling tired all of a sudden? No, make that exhausted. No one knows for sure what causes early pregnancy fatigue, but it's possible that rapidly increasing levels of the hormone progesterone are contributing to your sleepiness.
You should start to feel more energetic once you hit your second trimester, although fatigue usually returns late in pregnancy when you're carrying around a lot more weight and some of the common discomforts of pregnancy make it more difficult to get a good night's sleep.
The bleeding is very light (appearing as red spotting or pink or reddish-brown staining) and lasts only a day or two. (Let your practitioner know if you notice any bleeding or spotting, particularly if it's accompanied by pain, since this can be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy.)
About half of women with nausea feel complete relief by the beginning of the second trimester. For most others it takes another month or so for the queasiness to ease up.
Increased sensitivity to odors If you're newly pregnant, it's not uncommon to feel repelled by the smell of a bologna sandwich or cup of coffee and for certain aromas to trigger your gag reflex. Though no one knows for sure, this may be a side effect of rapidly increasing amounts of estrogen in your system. You may also find that certain foods you used to enjoy are suddenly completely repulsive to you.
Abdominal bloating Hormonal changes in early pregnancy may leave you feeling bloated, similar to the feeling some women have just before their period arrives. That's why your clothes may feel snugger than usual at the waistline, even early on when your uterus is still quite small.
Frequent urination Shortly after you become pregnant, you may find yourself hurrying to the bathroom all the time. Why? Mostly because during pregnancy the amount of blood and other fluids in your body increases, which leads to extra fluid being processed by your kidneys and ending up in your bladder.
This symptom may start as early as six weeks into your first trimester and continue or worsen as your pregnancy progresses and your growing baby exerts more pressure on your bladder.
A missed period If you're usually pretty regular and your period doesn't arrive on time, you'll probably take a pregnancy test long before you notice any of the above symptoms. But if you're not regular or you're not keeping track of your cycle, nausea and breast tenderness and extra trips to the bathroom may signal pregnancy before you realize you didn't get your period.
Your basal body temperature stays high If you've been charting your basal body temperature and you see that your temperature has stayed elevated for 18 days in a row, you're probably pregnant.
And finally...
