Is it possible to be pregnant and still get a period?

yes because in our vagina the eggs comes out from two sides and get ready to be fertilize at the same time so if one is fertilized already the other still needs to be fertilized too ,and if doesn't ,it comes out to be your period.

If you are on your period when should a PREGNANCY TEST be taken?

If you are on your period there is generally no reason for a pregnancy test as this indicates that you are NOT pregnant. You should take a pregnancy test if you MISS a period.

When you come off the pill how long before your period?

Three months is normal... can be as long as six to a year to be regular again. You are not considered infertile until 2 years.

Is it normal to stop having periods after getting sober?

Im not a doctor, but i dont think so. i got sober an still have mine. if you havent already get a pregnancy test.

Why did your period come early?

Well its kind of embarrassing to talk of this.. Your period can come at any time of the month because you have to have it at some point in time unless you get monthly ones. Now depending on when you got your period the previous month is important for this because if you got yer period in the beginning of the month then it should happen in the beginning of the present month.. This is probably confusing but its hard explaining.. Also the way the menstrual cycle works we dont control it comes when it wants to.... I know that one month had alreddy had my period in the beginning and i got it again at end of month going into a few days of the next month.., It didnt make sense at first UN till i realized how unpredictable it can be!

Can you still have your period during the first month of pregnancy?

It is probably not going to be your period. Bleeding during pregnancy usually occurs in a sequence (if there is bleeding) 1)implantation bleeding (occurs when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine lining) 2) cervical changes which causes vaginal bleeding or 3) a miscarriage.

Is a 60 day menstrual cycle normal?

While there is no such thing as a "normal" menstrual cycle, 60 days is terribly long. I suspect that instead of a long cycle, what you are actually experiencing is intermittent ammenorrhea where you fail to ovulate or bleed at regular intervals. Many women who have anovulatory cycles will still bleed at regular intervals due to the progesterone drop they experience after the body attempts ovulation.

In your case, it seems that when you fail to ovulate, you fail to bleed as well. Many women have occasional anovulatory cycles. I recommend that you begin charting your basal body temperature over a period of time in order to see if you are ovulating or not, and if you are, what percentage of cycles are ovulatory. Short of an ultrasound, charting BBT is the simplest way to tell if you ovulated in a cycle.

That being said, you should probably see a doctor to rule out a more serious explanation than occasional anovulation.

What is diagnostic tests?

Certain self administered tests can be done and interpreted by any layman. The classic thermometer is a device used to take the body temperature. Another is the drug store blood pressure cuff. One can take one's blood pressure to keep check on certain conditions such as high blood pressure.

These simple measures will help doctors because the baseline of these tests can be very closely monitored by the patient who can call if the result is abnormal.

I am 11 days late have had 3 negative urine tests For the last four days I have been spotting Could I be pregnant?

Not likely, but possible. The most accurate way to find out is a serum pregnancy test given by your doctor. If your periods are always around the same time, I would consider this option.

What is the cervical position during early pregnancy?

Basically, the cervix will raise and become fleshy (typically quite hard) during early pregnancy, however, timing is all dependent on the individual. Some experience this change in different periods of the pregnancy; from the earlier stages until quite late in the first trimester. Quite frankly, don't rely on this as a means to determine whether you are pregnant or not. The advice of a professional is always the best answer.

Can your period come if you're pregnant?

Your period should stop when you are pregnant. Menses is the sloughing of the nutrients a fetus would need to survive, so when this is lost there is nothing for the baby to survive on. If you know you are pregnant and have what you think is a period, you may have miscarried, the body's way of stopping a pregnancy that would not end in a viable baby. See your OB/GYN immediately if this happens.

Can you still get pregnant if your husband is fixed?

No, there should be a period of about 6 months before you can be sure he's shooting blanks.

I had my period about two weeks ago I didnt have cramps or breast soreness My period came two days early and was lighter My nipples started to tingle a week ago and were sore Am I pregnant?

Well implantation bleeding (bleeding after the egg implants into the uterus) is possible, but the only way to really know if you are pregnant is to either take a home pregnancy test or see your OB/GYN. Good luck!

What should you do if you took a pregnancy test and it was positive and you took another a few weeks later and it was negative?

There are several things that can contribute to a negative pregnancy test even if you are pregnant. Some medications can give you a false negative, the timing of the test can affect the results. If you did not follow directions properly; if you let the test sit for too long the results may read negative after a while. It is important to read the results within the amount of time given on the instructions of that particular pregnancy test you bought. If you did not perform the test properly (example: you drank a lot of fluids before taking the test, which can dilute your urine). Etc. On rare occasions you can encounter a false positive due to improper testing, expired pregnancy tests, rare medical conditions such as certain types of cancer, evaporation lines or a chemical pregnancy.

You are two weeks late on your period you started bleeding but the pregnancy test said negative are you pregnant?

Yes. If you have the "symptoms of pregnancy" and your period has not appeared, and you have had unprotected vaginal intercourse recently (since your last period), you could very well be pregnant.

Home pregnancy tests are reliable but not infallible. The result can be altered by various natural means and the indication given is only a measure of how much more than 50% either way your hormones secreted in your urine are.

To be completely sure, check with your GP/HMO, gynecologist or family planning practitioner for a hospital pregnancy test.

Is it common to spot and have cramps when you are pregnant?

No, call your doctor right away. IT DEPENDS ON HOW ADVANCED YOU ARE IN YOUR PREGNANCY. IMPLANTATION BLEEDING CAN OCCUR SEVERAL DAYS AFTER YOU HAVE OVULATED. Yep it could be normal. If it started a little before or around your first "missed" period. I thought I had a period last month cause I spotted for a week and had major cramps but this month no period and I JUST got a +++++ pregnancy test! Good Luck. Depends of each person. I had a very light brownish spot when I was about 2 weeks pregnant. Now I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I have a little bit of cramps, and everything is working out normally. Thanks God. Good Luck to you ;o)

If your period was late and when it came it was irregular what does that mean?

It can mean that you are under unusual stress, that you are taking hormones or other medicine, that you are nearing menopause, that there are growths or other gynecological problems, or it can simply be normal variation. If your periods were always regular and suddenly change in some way, it's best to let your doctor or gynecologist know. They may want to check it out just to be sure there is no problem.
