Can cats get sick from mold?

YesI live in a basement apartment, and our windows are covered in black mold. My cat liked to sit in the window sills a lot. One day I came home to him frothing at the mouth, dialated pupils, running around like a mad man. I took him to the vet... He was having cluster seizures. The eventually got worse.. turned into grand mal seizures. After spending over $2000 on vet bills, trying to get him back to normal, we ended up having to put him down 2 months later. The vet said the mold could have possibly been a factor, because my cat exibited the same symptoms as a human would with mold toxicity. Be very careful with mold. What is guano used for?

The word "guano" originates from the Quichua language of the Inca civilization and means "the droppings of sea birds". The Incas collected guano from the coast of Peru for use as a soil enrichment agent. The Incas also assigned great value to guano, restricting access to it and punishing any disturbance to the birds with death.

Bat guano has been harvested over several centuries along the coast of Peru, where islands and rocky shores have been sheltered from humans and predators. The Guanay Cormorant has historically been the most important producer of guano; its guano is richer in nitrogen than guano from other seabirds. Other important guano producing species off the coast of Peru are the Peruvian Pelican and the Peruvian Booby.

In November 1802, Alexander von Humboldt studied guano and its fertilizing properties at Callao in Peru, and his subsequent writings on this topic made the subject known in Europe.

The high concentration of nitrates also made bat guano an important strategic commodity. The War of the Pacific (1879 to 1883) between the Peru-Bolivia alliance and Chile was primarily based upon Bolivia's attempt to tax Chilean guano harvesters and over control of a part of the Atacama Desert that lies between the 23rd and 26th parallels on the Pacific coast. The discovery during the 1840s of the use of guano as a fertilizer made the area strategically valuable.

By the end of the 19th century, the importance of guano declined with the rise of artificial fertilizer, although guano is still used by organic gardeners and farmers.

Turkey has very wide areas of resources of the Bat Guano commodity.

High quality Bat Guano is available in Turkey with incredibly strong potency.

What stops you bleeding to death?

Platelets and proteins in your blood work together to stop the bleeding by forming a clot over the injury. Your body holds more than a gallon of blood, so you usually have time to use pressure or a tourniquet to stop the flow of blood so that the bleeding will stop.

The thing to do is to run the cut under cold water for about 10 Minutes, if the bleeding hasn't stop (if you have paper cut your finger) keep running the cold water, or if it has you need to then cover it with a plaster, but before you put on the plaster on put Sudocream where bleeding and leave it to have air to it for a couple of minutes and then wash the bleeding area with cold water and Kitchen Roll and then put on the plaster and if the cold water doesn't work the second time Contact your local doctors.

When you are severely bleeding you are likely to die of blood loss. In order to stop this, you will need to grab sterile gauze and press it on the wound tightly. The objective is to stop the bleeding.

How can you stop bacteria from growing?

There are several methods. The most common is to keep the media (food, nutrition source for the bacteria) cold as temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit inhibit (but do not prevent) bacterial growth. Another common method is to reduce the water activity of the media, either by removing water (drying) or adding substances that bind the water and make it unavailable to bacteria (salt, sugar). There are also various antimicrobial chemicals, agents, processing aids and other substances that will either directly or indirectly inhibit or prevent bacterial growth.

Sodas are usually not "bad" in small servings, but there is so much sugar that drinking too much can be unhealthy. The carbs, if not used up quickly, will store up around the body as fat. But drinking a small soda once in a while should be okay, as long as you don't drink 3 liters at once. :D

I don't smoke and it doesn't bother me... People should have the freedom to do what they want. If people don't like the smoke don't go there. Others can go to non smoking facilities if they want. The free market and enterprise will work it out. Everybody seems to want to tell everybody else what to do now a days, to many whiners, enough already.

Sleep is a requirement from your body to function. Your physical body has to rest and your mind has to rest.
