There are a number of reasons for this, but varies between petrol and diesel. Diesels dont like the cold. The diesel engines in the 75 are BMW common rail engines.

Looking face on to the engine, there is a plastic cover just below the windscreen on the left. The cover is lifted by pressing two clips in. The brake fluid reservoir can be found here.

You might have to take the motor mounts bolt and disconnect the exhaust after the Y and at the monifolds and lift the motor slightly to get the starter out.

Check the cable to see if it is connected if all is well you could possibly need a new one

In Ford's..sometimes the speedometer cable might need lubed as it gets older instead of replacing the whole speedometer. Outside the passenger compartment firewall inside the engine compartment under the hood near the driver's side, you might see where the cable comes out and connects to the cable going to the wheel. A lot of times you can disconnect this connection and drop oil down the cable and that will solve a speedometer which varies while driving.

Near side (passenger) footwell, behind the cover on the left under the glove box. Remove the cover and look up to the left and you will see it, you will have to put your finger above the unit and push it down to reset it.

depends which 75 you have 1.8, 2.0 & 2.5 K & KV6 - front left hand side underneath 2.0 CDT/ CDTi under bonnet right hand side, has a plastic dome with a nut head cast into it Oil filter is a paper element on the diesel or a normal screw fit canister type on petrol`s www.freewebs.com/hometek

I think you get at it through a panel in the mud guard under the wheel arch. That is how you do it on the drivers side. Remove the little panel and there is a rubber push fit cover - take it off and the bulbs are held in with a spring clip which is a bit fiddly but not too difficult.

The spring clip came out how do Iget it back in?

Bleed the furthest from the master cylinder 1st then the rest in order of distance from the master cylinder.

Not easy you have to remove radiator and loosen steering pump to get access to it there are 3 bolts holding it on , slacken drive belt first and remember to disconnect the battery lead before you start good luck

They are changed at either 90k or six years,whichever is first. It is a 12hr joband needs a specialist to do. Job cost for the 4 belts involved is approx 600 pounds at the cheapest. try a company in yprkshire called LATES Ltd.

It is probably the airbag warning light and in most cases it results from under your driver/passenger seat. If you look at the wires under the seat and push the connecting cable together it often resolves itself and the light will go out. Good luck.

To fit take off the plastic cover which covers the engine and if facing the engine from the front its top left hand corner all you need is small star(allen type) screw driver to take screw off pop it out and put the new one in which will probely have a biger head to new part as i guess this is an improvamant

All in all about 10-20 minute job whish all fixs on cars were this easy

And indication to this being your problem is normley you can sometimes start the car let it warm up drive about park up and find you cant start it up again until the cars cooled down some people try putting the sensor in freezer after it wont start then putting it back on to find it starts ok
